    Buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes
    kim p.

Beautiful restaurant with food to match! We dined on the lovely terrace, but the interior with the grand staircase was really breathtaking. The meal began with refreshing mango gazpacho shooters. The Buffalo mozzarella junket was so memorable. Usually tomatoes are paired with firm mozzarella, but the soft creamy mozzarella they used was a solid match. It was like the interior of of burrata- very spreadable. The lobster raviolo met our expectations. Cooked perfectly al dente, with large chunks of lobster filling and a very rich lobster sauce. We probably didn't need to order the juicy rice with lobster on top of this, as it was very similar in flavor but the least favorite of our meal. The pistachio and raspberry duet dessert was spectacular in both flavor and presentation. Fresh raspberries were a nice contrast to the pistachio cream that topped a cookie like ring. My favorite bite was the crisp tuille cookie.

Their Sangria was great, as well as the lobster ravioli.

I think you are paying more for the experience of picking out the items. It seems like a bit of a tourist trap. It was early on during my trip, so I didn't know better at that point. It's also partially underground, so the atmosphere is nothing great which is a shaven when you're right by the beach. Surprisingly, the best dish was the fried calamari. It was so tender inside and crispy outside. It actually had flavor unlike most of the frozen stuff in the states. The octopus was my least favorite. It wasn't as tender as it was at other places and had less flavor. Langostines were good, but not as good as ones I had elsewhere. Clams had some shell/grit in them, but the flavor was good. The staff were friendly and helpful when I was trying to decide how much to order. If I return to Sitges, I would try a local restaurant for lunch instead. This place is a chain around the Barcelona area so you can have many opportunities to try it.

Still taste good... and if you pick clams, and squid, it's actually very reasonable. Fresh and delicious. I love this place. The price is a little cheaper than in Barcelona and the workers have less of an attitude. If only this place exist in the US. My favorite restaurant in Spain.

Our reserved table for 10 afforded us the ability to order many shared starters before our own entrees came. Favorite starters: *Galacian Octopus (Pulpo Gallego) was perfectly cooked tender, and came with a delicious sauce over sliced potatoes. A friend even ordered it as his entree! *Fried Calamari (Los Calamares) came in cut strips and we are them all. *Marine clams (Las Amejas) were fresh and bathed in a fantastic white wine and garlic. *Cuttlefish with Garlic (Sepia a la Plancha) was grilled whole and I could've eaten one by myself. My entree was Grilled Turbot (Rodaballo a la Plancha). The fish was so huge it was split into four entrees. It was the tastiest fish on my trip. It was perfectly grilled and moist. I had no problem with bones. Grilled Hake (Cogote de Merluza) and Sole were also delcious. For dessert don't pass up the creamy limoncello served in a frozen lemon! I forgot the names of the wines we had but we ran through 5 bottles of amazing Priorat. Since discovering Priorat wines in Sitges, I've been on a mission to find it in the US. It's pretty difficult! Service was spectacular and the wait staff were very personable, as if we were dining in a family's home. La Marinada is the top restaurant on my list when I return to Sitges!

They have a small outdoor seating area with a canopy and plenty of tables inside. We noticed a lot of locals were eating some delicious looking food outside and were determined to get in there. They were pretty busy but we were greeted and only had to wait a few minutes to get seated. Friendly front of house staff, menu looked good, was a bit of wait for the food but was totally worth it. We ordered a soup, a seafood platter and seafood paella for two. AMAZING. Freshest, tastiest seafood. The flavours were clean and seafood cooked well. The paella was handsdown the best paella I've had in all my travels and home. Rice perfectly cooked and not mushy, flavour was banging, not too salty, each piece of seafood tasted as they should. Seriously amazing. Waiter brings you the paella and checks you're happy with how it looks before serving it to you at the table. Delicious. Totally worth the wait. Note, you have to have a minimum of two people ordering paella, can't have paella for one (pretty standard). We also had the house red which was pretty smooth and ridiculously cheap. Yes there is WIFI and yes would def come again.
