However, we recently recommended Edla's Cleaning Services to our granddaughter who had just bought a newly constructed town house. My granddaughter instructed the ladies that she wanted a deep cleaning on everything!. The job done by the three cleaning ladies was horrible! They left blue tape on the new appliances; the inside of the cabinets were NOT wiped down; there was construction debris left on the bathroom shower floor; and the countertops were sticky and not cleaned very well. Our granddaughter was very disappointed after we gave her such a strong recommendation. The only difference I can think of between her experience and ours was that my wife and I were present for the entire time both cleanings were done. In this case my granddaughter was not present the whole time and had to leave for an appointment. Sadly, as a result of this experience I would not recommend Edla's Cleaning Services unless you stayed and were present while the cleaning was performed or reinspected your place before the cleaners left. One more point I would like to make is that her mother, my daughter owns three real estate franchises and who knows how much additional business Edla Cleaning Services would have received from my daughter's recommendations if her cleaning ladies did the same quality job they did for us!
