She made sure that I wasn't losing too much of my outer layer appliqué from the hem, the bustle was secure, and she added horse hair hem on the inner layers to allow the dress to fan out. I went to get only a hem, and she quoted me $80. I paid half via Venmo which was flexible. During my 2nd fitting, I decided I wanted a bustle but I was not expecting the price to DOUBLE. She then quoted me $160 and I asked her "how much to bustle a gown?" And she said "well, I steamed it too and I'm charging for each fitting and my time". I mentioned how she's just making up prices as we go. Plus, I never requested a steam, but apparently I had to pay for that too. I already had enough going on so I just paid her another $40 and agreed to pay the rest at the final fitting. Her studio needs some upkeep. It was dusty, floors needed a mop, and her bathroom doesn't look or feel clean. Would be nice if she had some empathy for brides wanting to protect their special gown. She has cats and it contributed to the aroma of her studio. I asked her if she can wash her hands while handling my gown, no response from her. Some text messages she did not respond to, she just left me on read. It would be nice if she sent out pick-up notifications or something to improve her customer service. But it's a small business. I recommend you keep track of everything and also take photos, if you're working with Basia.

We did a large rework of the top of the dress that included moving the waist, adding boning, adding lace, and adjusting the overall fit. Sarah also removed the train from my gown as I had an overskirt so I decided to not have a bustle. She always made me feel comfortable and was always on point. She helped me make design decisions about my dress but always listened to what I wanted. She was by far my favorite vendor for the whole wedding experience. Each appointment I was excited not only to see my dress but also to see her. I highly recommend Sara for your wedding gown needs.

I was unsure at first since he only marked it with one safety pin. 2 out of the 3 dresses were not cut the length that it was supposed to be. I was only able to take one back to have them fix it correctly the other dress I just have to wear since the event I needed it for was around the corner and wouldn't be able to get it fixed in time. They charged me $300 for the 3 dresses which I am sorry for you to mess up on 2 of the dresses and only needed to take an off material is extremely expensive. I would recommend to stay away from this place to get anything tailored. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. I brought in three dresses to be hemmed because they were slightly too long. The gentleman spent less than a minute pinning the length and only used one safety pin on each dress. I had a bad feeling about it at the time because it seemed rushed and careless, but I trusted that the work would be done correctly. Unfortunately, my concerns were justified. Two out of the three dresses were hemmed to the wrong length. I only had enough time to bring one back to be corrected. The other dress had to be worn as is because my event was right around the corner, and there wasn't enough time to have it fixed. To make matters worse, I was charged $300 to hem three dresses. That is an outrageous price for work that wasn't even done correctly. Hemming is one of the most basic alterations, and there is no excuse for getting the length wrong on two out of three dresses especially after charging such a premium. I expected professional workmanship and attention to detail, but instead I received rushed, sloppy work that left me with dresses I couldn't wear as intended. I absolutely cannot recommend this business to anyone looking for quality tailoring. Save yourself the frustration and take your clothes somewhere that values precision and customer satisfaction.
