The lad serving me had this manager come over to him while I was looking around the store so as I come back to the register he claims there is a price mistake and its $139 so o.k then I look at the next one on shelf for $75 and he says after going to register that it's a mistake too and was $139 so I go grab another for $118 and you won't believe what he says next .... but after stating the rest are marked correctly..... $139! What are the odds people? These guys are very shady "esp the manager" and over priced, they tried to lob off a no name brand I was not interested in for $65 so I told them I could get a Thermaltake case for $75 from Umart! I'll just have to wait delivery. Seems they were determined to overcharge and I was willing to buy... but something strange is going at that store for sure!

The first place I brought it to said it would cost $230, which was a lot more than I was willing to pay. I found MPS after a Google search, and they were extremely polite and helpful on the phone. Not only that, but they were only asking $149 for the repair! We brought it in, they were just as nice in person as on the phone; and although they normally do screen repairs within an hour or so, we had arrived at the shop very late in the day, so we had to come back the following morning. We picked it up the next day, and it was as good as new - I'm typing this review on it right now! I strongly recommend MPS for anyone, but particularly for those who have quite a high-end phone and have despaired of having it repaired for a reasonable price - I was going to sell my Z1 on ebay for parts! The 2nd time the same thing happened with the screen but not only did I pay full price, the store attendant misplaced my sim card in another customers phone and gave it back to them causing me to have to wait for half an hour while they scrambled to find whos phone my sim card was in, and of course that customer had already left so I had to come back the next day just to retrieve my sim card that they lost. The last time I came in I was just a few days within the warranty. After I got back to the store to pick my phone up later that afternoon I was then informed that my Digitizer was dented thus why my screen was going white and blurry, and was made to pay full price. It would have been very nice to know that my digitizer was dented the first time instead of neglecting information to get more money out of your customers. Worst customer service I've ever experienced, do not go here.

To keep it as brief as possible here READ THE FINE PRINT. They hide behind sub clauses. It first started when they doubled my site clear quote once the contract was signed and my house was sold. The quote was12k plus $4k dumping to $25k plus up to $9k dumping. Apparently there was a rise in costs. But you would think that if I was an existing contract they would honor their quote (and words to get me to sell through them) but they didn't. They ordered me to remove 19 meters of my boundary fence 10 days before handover (when it wasn't in the scope of works, when I asked them a month before and they said I didn't have to do it - when they had 5 months to tell me so I could seek permission from my neighbours) They basically blackmailed me by saying if I didn't do it they would take me off the schedule which would have resulted in $950 in penalties per week until the "matter was resolved". This resulted in me now being responsible for all costs involved in replacing the boundary fence which has exceeded $9k They sold my home to the first person who saw it for $89k - I received $15k which was to be put towards clearing the remaining debris. They are completely dishonourable and they flat out lie. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING - DO NOT MAKE DEALS WITH THEM OVER THE PHONE FOR ANY ASPECT OF YOUR DEMO. The demo "crew" themselves are unprofessional, leaving the house unsecured and using a decommissioned toilet then lying about it. Disgusting. Honestly the list goes on and on - as I said I have written a chronological detailed document explaining my experience with this awful company. I will try to put the full review on as many places as possible and those who want to know more can search for it. It is a shame I can't do it her. I WISH SOMEONE WARNED ME! It would have been cheaper to simply knock the house down and dump - plus it would have saved me so much stress. They do not care about you - worst experience ever- steer clear!
