After hearing fantastic reviews (from both Yelp and friends), I was excited to try this restaurant. The ambiance was nice walking in. However, the table was on the small side for 5 and was further crowded with multiple drink menus and a fake flowers. After being impressed at the size of the mocktail menu (5-6 drinks!) I got a mocktail (the Mango Mule). Sadly, it was too sweet. The food was alright. Tacos are were okay, burgers were overcooked and dry. The drink menu looked great and I'm guessing that's where they shine, but I was honestly left disappointed. read more

Service was great! The margaritas were amazing, and the shots of tequila coming in a champagne glass were a fun, nice touch. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite hit the mark for us -- it felt very Americanized. We did mention it, and to their credit, the manager came by personally to apologize and even took one of the meals off our bill, which we really appreciated. I am visiting Keizer, Oregon and my parents decided we should eat dinner at The Margarita Factory. It is a nice place at Keizer Station that offers authentic Mexican cuisine. Luckily we had reservations because it was packed and it didn't slow down the entire time we were there! There are numerous tvs on the walls that were showing college football. The wait staff is plentiful and very friendly and professional. They can be seen constantly moving from table to table and table to kitchen. My dinner selection was Enchiladas a la Diabla. It has spicy red salsa, poblano peppers, bell peppers, mush-rooms, a fried jalapeño, and THE WORKS. I am a "spice-head" (I LOVE spicy foods) and I thought this dish was spicy enough to catch my attention, but did not cause me any discomfort. I enjoyed the flavor and the shredded chicken inside the enchilada was juicy and tender. The noise level from a packed house was quite high, but I didn't notice how loud it was until I left the building and was able to relax in the relative quiet of the night. We were visiting family in the area and decided that instead of them preparing something at home for the whole group, we would grab takeout to bring back to their house. After going back and forth on where to eat, we decided to try the nearby Margarita Factory. Our family members who live in the area mentioned that the location had recently changed over to the Margarita Factory, so we thought it would be worth giving it a try. We were going to place a takeout order, and my wife went to their website to view the menu. This redirected her to DoorDash to complete the order. She is very familiar with DoorDash since she uses it regularly for work, and she was able to easily set up a group order and send it to each of our phones so everyone could make their own selections. There were six of us, and we ordered a variety of different items. My wife kept an eye on the pickup time listed in the DoorDash app. When the time got close, the two of us went to Margarita Factory to pick up the order. As soon as we walked in, Quintin greeted us. We told him we were there to pick up a takeout order, and he asked us to have a seat while he checked on it. He returned shortly and let us know it would be out soon. We had a few specific requests with the order, and he assured us he would make sure everything was correct. We also asked how long they had been open and were told about two months. Both my wife and I commented to each other how impressed we were with Quintin's customer service. He was friendly, attentive, and very professional. A short while later, Quintin brought out our order. Everything was packaged neatly, and we were on our way. When we arrived back at our family's home and unpacked the food, we were all impressed with how well everything was packaged. The food looked great, and as everyone started eating, we were all very pleased with our meals. Overall, this was a very positive takeout experience. Super busy on a Friday at 1130am. Came here after an appointment near by. First time here. Love the decor. Wonderful service. Big portions and great mocktails. They only gave three corn tortillas for a large portion of fajitas, but I was able to ask for more. I do wish there were more veggies mixed in, but plenty of carne asada. I took the rest home for leftovers. My mom had the Chile relleno which the pepper tasted good but not enough cheese. Mocktails were amazing. We had a pina colada and moscow mule. Several of us decided to celebrate a birthday at this new location for Margarita Factory. It was the best decision we could have made! We arrived about 5PM on a Friday, before the after-work crowd could get there and I would highly recommend doing that if you can. When we left after our meal, the waiting line was out the door. Since I was carrying a present, the staff asked if we were celebrating a birthday, and since my friends had stopped at the restroom on the way in, I was left to say "yes" - and I'm so glad I did. After dinner, my friend was treated to a pink sombrero and an ice cream sundae, while being serenaded with a very animated birthday song. After being seated, glasses of water arrived almost immediately along with a large bowl of chips and a very nice red salsa. Since we were there at Happy Hour, we ordered from the Happy Hour menu which was extensive - I ordered the coconut shrimp with a side of beans and rice. The shrimp were huge and covered with a crispy delicious batter filled with tons of coconut; the "side" of beans and rice was an entire plateful. I also ordered a house margarita which arrived in a 16-ounce glass, rim perfectly coated in salt and more marg than ice (always a good thing!). My friends ordered a green enchilada to share and a flight of four different margaritas. My bad - I didn't take a pic of that cheery line-up of 8-ounce margaritas but I was told they were very tasty. Our waiter, Pastor, was a true delight. He was pleasant and attentive to us, on-the-spot with water refills, asking if we needed anything, and in general, a very good server. He asked if the Birthday Girl wanted ice cream or a shot of tequila for her birthday and she chose ice cream, having just downed half of a flight of margaritas. A group of waitstaff persons arrived with a dish of ice cream, a pink sombrero, and a song that was truly delightful. Couldn't have asked for a better birthday dinner for my friend! We all decided that Margarita Factory is a great addition to Keizer and we'll be going back soon. P.S. I'm thinking we'll be requesting Pastor's station as well :) read more

First time trying this place out. It is stunning, beaufiful inside and out. We had reservations at 5:30 but arrived around 5:10, we only waited about 5 minutes and were sat earlier than our reservation. We were brought waters, chips, and salsa immediately. We ordered a couple of drinks, queso, tacos, and a birria pizza. My husbands "bucket" was really good. My margarita flight was awesome. My husband really enjoyed the birria pizza, it's huge, probably enough for 3 people to share. I had the fish tacos and carnitas tacos. The carnitas were good, especially with that habanero salsa. I didn't care for the fish tacos, I got them crispy, but they weren't that crispy and the inside was actually a little mushy. And it doesn't pair well with tha pineapple pico. The rice and beans that came with it were good, and it was also a lot of food. The queso was super good, it was hard to stop eating it. The service in this place is incredible! I've gone here twice now with reservations and it almost seems pointless to make a reservation because both times I've ended up waiting an extra 30 minutes past my reservation. This margarita factory lacked in the aesthetic department. They're usually more extravagant looking. However, this one is not compared to all the others around Oregon. We came back again tonight for dessert. The host saw us walking up and was grinning. As soon as we walked in he said "Welcome back" We let him know this time we were here for dessert. I tried the flan which is my favorite. It was so creamy very good. I could taste the Carmel. Reminds me of the flan a neighbor made us years ago in our old neighborhood. The environment was loud because of drunk people, but that's okay. Hostesses and waiters were very friendly. Our server was okay.
