Sugaring Change popped up and I was intrigued. I never got the chance to try the place until recently. I decided to just try it as the waxer I like is on mat leave and the location is no longer convenient for me. My alternative waxer has changed her work schedule and I could not meet her timing. So Sugaring Change it is. This is the fastest Brazilian hair removal I ever had. I think I was done in 15-20 minutes. It was gentle, less painful (to me) than hard or soft wax. It was clean and best of all, no tweezing was done (not sure if it is commonly done anyway). I had my session with Danica and she was very patient in explaining the procedures and would let me know the products she would be using as I am sensitive to certain products. The place was nice, clean and quiet. You need to key in a code at the door to enter. I do not think there is a receptionist there at all times as I tried calling when I was there and there was no answer. To make an appointment, you will be better off doing it online or texting or at the desk. Parking at the underground garage is limited (I was told the 2 spots meant for them is usually taken up by staff), and it may be easier to find a spot on the street instead. I will definitely be back again in future.

I waste 9 months to work with them .... During my last visit they said that they want to show me to their doctor, because they care, that I don't have results, and I spent time to visit them again and guess what their doctor said "that I should visit a DOCTOR". This ladies doesn't care about your time, health or money. They just smile and say they you need more and more procedures to have results.

They were trying to get me to pay $115 for a 75ml tube of product made by a company I've never ever heard of. The second spa treatment, done yesterday, was likewise underwhelming. What is really upsetting is that, due to overaggressive extractions, I am now covered in pin-prick-like, red wounds where pores were traumatised when they'd be better left alone. What's worse is that my esthetician, who had long nails, didn't even wear gloves to do the extractions, which I discovered too late. The extractions actually brought up tears, and I am the type of person who can sit through brazilian waxes and blood donations with a buddha-like smile on my face. I feel like I paid well over $135 for a skin treatment that left me in worse shape than I started. I ran into a friend the today, who, taking one look at my face, said "what did I tell you about doing your own extractions! You're going to get an infection!" I went back today to show the shop manager what was going on. I wasn't looking for refunds or complimentary services, as I kept reiterating, but she kept going on and on about how I should really let her show me a few lines of skin care products that would help minimise the need for extractions. Unbelievable. Long and short is that I won't go back, and would tell anyone (that I like) to steer clear.

I have gone to dozens of different electrologists over the years, but there were only a handful that I liked and would see regularly. I thought I was done with electrolysis, until over a year ago. My previous electrolysis had retired, and, now in my 50s, I was not happy about going through the pain (literally and figuratively) of finding an electrologist that I liked, or at least could tolerate. I chose Ginger's because I liked her website. I felt like I could trust her, and that she was experienced and knowledgeable, cared about her clients, and was a genuinely really nice person! And within the first 5 minutes of my first appointment with Ginger, I knew that everything I thought about her was true. Ginger is the best electrologist that I have ever gone to, and I've gone to many electrologists over the years. She is gentle, and extremely conscientious, and she is knowledgeable and professional and attentive and caring. But what makes her truly extraordinary is that she is also one of the nicest people I have every met. For anyone who is thinking about trying electrolysis, but has heard that it's painful is afraid and/or you don't know who to go to, there is nobody better than Ginger. You may have to wait a couple of weeks to get an appointment with her, but trust me, she's worth it.
