Dr Perez seams very nice but her office is so disorganised and unprofessional, first they schedule me for the wrong day after a conversation on the phone so then I sat in the office just waiting an no one called me up then when they figured out the mistake dr Perez quickly stuck me in and gave me a very quick adjustment and a paper with things to strech at home, I then payed in the office the 30 co-pay to then receive a week later a bill for that same co pay amount with the breakdown of charges 50 for adjustment and 40 for therapy (she massaged me for like 2 mins) then 90 for the visit I could have payed with no insurance for a better service that would have lasted more than 10 mins! Do not recommend this place they just want your money and pray on you to not check your bill to scam you twice read more

I've been seeing Dr. Perez during my current pregnancy for pelvic pain and difficulty walking. During my first pregnancy my pelvis pain was so bad that I became completely immobile a few weeks before giving birth and for several months after labor. It was horrible having a newborn baby and being unable to walk due to the excruciating pain I was in. Unfortunately my OB during my first pregnancy never recommended I see a chiropractor. I have a different OB this time around and she highly recommended I go see Dr. Perez when I told her I was starting to get the same pelvic pain during my first pregnancy. Long story short I have been seeing Dr. Perez for several months and have been pain free and walking just fine. She's amazing and puts me back together every time I go into her office in pain. I am due to deliver in less than 3 weeks and I am completely walking with no issues. I was limping in major pain at this point of my last pregnancy. I highly recommend her, I even have my husband going to to her for regular adjustments. I don't know if Dr.Perez is fully aware how hurtful her words are sometimes. I first went to Dr. Perez in 2019 and was impressed by her level of expertise and skills in providing me a full body adjustment. I also found her raw, in your face, sense of humor funny. I revisited her on and off in 2021 after the COVID lockdown and every once in a while in 2022. The last time I visited in early August (last month), the appointment went okay and I let her know how my recovery from a recent surgery went. I decided to make an appointment with the massage therapist there since it is partially covered by my insurance and my body needed some extra massage care after being on bed rest recovery after my surgery. Therefore, I requested a 1 1/2 hour massage session instead of the normal 1 hour this time and asked the receptionist if they could make the one time accommodation. They made the accommodation and I came back to office a couple of weeks later for a massage. The massage went well and when I approached the receptionist, she was friendly but Dr.Perez came out of one of the adjustment rooms and yelled at me. "We can't do that again! Ms. Kay (the massage therapist) is in very high demand!" This was the first blow because I would hope my chiropractor is more concerned about how my back is feeling after a massage than letting me know I inconvenienced her and the massage therapist . The second blow is that I was charged DOUBLE the amount I normally would have had to pay for a half hour more of service. I canceled the one hour massage appointment I made for this month (September) because last month's experience is still hurtful and disappointing to me. read more

I am so thankful they are open right now during Covid. Truly life changing. I have been there twice since everything closed down. Once was to visit the chiropractor, Margaret Perez. And the second was an appointment with the massage therapist on site Kay Bahari. I have a diagnosed anxiety disorder. This causes me to have extreme tension in my muscles - especially my back, neck, and shoulders Needless to say, COVID has wreaked havoc on my mental health and my body has been in pain!! Everything was feeling worse, more tight, I was getting migraines! I typically went for massages to help with these issues, but since massage parlors are closed down, I just lived in misery. Finally decided to go to Dr Perez. It was easy to set an appointment. Staff was incredibly nice. And the office is taking Covid precautions. I told her my problem areas. She massage and adjusted me, and I felt INSTANTLY better. I had mobility in my neck in shoulders that I haven't had in months . When I was in the room, I noticed a flier mentioning a massage therapist working in her office! A miracle! I miss my massages so much! I booked an hour massage with Kay, and I was SO IMPRESSED! I am SO picky when it comes to massage therapist. I have never lucked out like this. I will be honest I was expecting a "just okay" massage, but..man..it was the PERFECT mix of relaxing and tension relief. I told her my problem areas, and she really worked those - which I love! I found Dr. Perez via a Facebook group, she came in as one of the recommendations for prenatal chiropractors. Last week, at 19 weeks I found myself in excruciating pain, my lower back and sciatica started acting up and for the first time ever (obviously pregnancy related) I had hip pain in my hip joint. I couldn't lift my leg, sit, walk or lay down on my side or back without a throbbing burning pain that was constantly there. I didn't sleep for a week and tried every stretch, foam rolling, hot pad, massage, etc. and this pain would not go away! The pain started Monday, I made some calls on Thursday and initially went to a chiropractor / kombucha drinking "wellness coach" who wasted my time for an hour by giving me a crash course on how nerves in our spine affect pain and how our brains work, including a 7 minute lectured autobiography on "her story" which was traumatizing and anxiety inducing (car accidents, spine fractures, neck fractures, and an MRI that was scanning for a brain tumor- all while I'm sitting in agony having to listen to this hoping she'll help...), she then took $200 for that waste of a session and did absolutely nothing to address my hip. So I walked in for story time and an upper spine adjustment (????) and walked out with a useless adjustment, limping with a throbbing hip and way more information than I cared to know about this quack of a woman. The next day I called Dr. Perez and she agreed to take me in for my initially cancelled appointment on that Friday. All I have to say is that by Sunday I was 65% better and slept through the entire night 2 nights during the weekend. Ah, the relief! I went back to see her Monday and she helped even more, I'm now 85-90% better and almost back to normal. I'll continue seeing her for whatever is left of the pain and some preventative care. Dr. Perez is a true professional, she knows what she's doing and I felt confident in my decision going to her and allowing her to work on me while I was pregnant. She truly felt my pain and I saw that she had a level of sympathy during my visit as she really saw that I was in bad shape. It felt like she was going to help me then and there, and she truly did! She took extra care with massaging out my painful hip, did some adjustments on me, and taped up my hip and lower back for extra relief. She was honest and upfront. Her staff is very nice and the office is clean and well kept. I didn't go through insurance but paying out of pocket was affordable and felt like a fair price, especially with the kind of care you receive with her. Definitely would recommend and already have recommended her to my friends and family, pregnant or not! I've never been to a chiropractor who has done more for me in such a short amount of time. Holy shit the dynamic pain relief duo that is Margaret and Mirna!! First off, if you've seen my other reviews I'm a huge stickler for good customer service; yes, thank you for doing your job well AND can you be pleasant and an awesome person too?!? Well Msquared have that shit down. I was in PAIN. Pain, you guys. Like PAIN! It started off as: oh, my back is getting really fatigued if I walk for more than an hour, then if I walk for more than 30 minutes. So I went to the acupuncturist and holy f-Balls that made it so much worse. I couldn't stay on my feet for any matter of time at all. It got to the point I was getting a little nauseous from the pain. I even went back to the acupuncturist cause we were both perplexed and it helped the pain not be as bad but still worse than it was prior to doing anything. Now I'm not blaming acupuncture at all, it just was not the answer to the issue which was: this bitch (referring to myself) was out of some major alignment. Like major. I had noticed some asymmetrical stuff in the mirror as I was doing hot yoga the past 6 MONTHS like a dope and I guess it finally devolved into extreme pain. Okay so In Margaret's loving, personable and capable hands for I don't know 5 minutes total and holy shit if my body could thank me. I'm good as new. I've only been to Dr. Perez a few times now but she has already made a huge difference on my chronic tension headaches. One of my last headaches was so constant and no medication would help -- but the morning after my visit, the pain was completely gone. Great, conscientious service. I went in for a persistent sore neck. Dr. Perez treated me, talking me through everything she was doing. I generally do not like being "adjusted" (cracked), but she talked me through my options with that and with my permission tried with only light pressure. The adjustment was only a small part of the treatment anyway. When the appointment was over, I asked if I needed to come back, and she told me to see how I feel after a few days - she did not try to get me on the books for another appointment. Dr. Margaret Perez is a healer! I was suffering with constant neck and shoulder pain for well over 2 years before receiving her treatments. Before her, I was receiving "standard" chiropractic care, and although I was hopeful the care I was receiving was doing something good, after each standard treatment I was back to pain. This office is my final stop. I've had consistent, extensive, upper back pain for almost a year now. It increased due to sitting for zoom meetings and probably bad posture, and my quickly deteriorating nutritional routine at the beginning of 2021, plus stress of course. In the last 6 months, I've been to 3 traditional chiropractors, an acupuncturist/herbalist, a holistic chiropractor who does visceral manipulation, and lastly, a massage therapist/coach for visceral manipulation and lymphatic drainage (at a very high price). To some, I went several times, only to eventually end up feeling hopeless. My deep back pain was not better, and communication was low while prices were high. They each seemed to do what they do, without adjusting their interventions specifically to my condition. The back adjustments were aggressive and often left me with pain elsewhere the next morning. I also went to physical therapy for 2-3 months, which felt good but also didn't put a dent in the stiffness or pain in my back. I've been a healthy and active person my whole life, and had never gone to so many specialists, but I was looking for "the right one" that could help me. I was doubting I'd find anyone that could make a real difference. This week, I saw Dr. Perez. I'd seen her once years ago for neck pain. I'd been so much better after seeing her but had forgotten about her office, and was starting to believe my situation now was so different and chronic that no one could help. However, her knowledge, attention to my specific issues, and expertise felt very hopeful right from the start. After her treatment, which was very complete, and expressing to me that she'd work to find my "recipe," I was hopeful AND better. My upper back gained a flexibility I was nostalgic for, and I still feel noticeably better and flexible, and agile, at the end of the week. Today, I saw Kay for a massage, which included maneuvers for lymphatic drainage. I believe this is a big part of what I need. Dr. Perez is a miracle worker. I was in terrible pain every time I took a breath, so this was constant and ongoing pain. I tried a few other chiropractors who either could not fix the pain or stopped the pain briefly only for it to come right back after a few days.
