During previous visits I had female assistants, which I do prefer when it comes to exams that require removal of clothing. I didn't want to raise an issue initially so I continued with the male assistant. When it came time to execute the EKG, some protocols were not executed. I was not given a gown to change into and due to oils & lotion on my skin I had to remove with alcohol pads for the EKG monitors to adhere to my skin properly. The male assistant watched as I removed the oils from my chest, groin, and breast area. This was unusual protocol because during past appointments I was given a gown and privacy to prepare for the test. As a woman I prefer and will ensure to advocate for female doctors & assistants in order to prevent any uncomfortable situations. I did speak up just prior to the execution of the EKG, requesting a female technician. Ladies protect your bodies, comfort, & privacy when receiving healthcare, do not be afraid to speak up & advocate for yourself.

They collect your payment upfront so that once you see the doctor you are free to go. Dr. Gage always comes in like he has all the time in the world. He reviews your cardiac system and open to the discussion for any potential issues that may be occurring. He does a comprehensive review of all medications and answers any questions. As busy as they are you wouldn't think that the atmosphere would be so relaxed, but it is! This time there was a discussion that ensued related to the cardiac stress test that Tom is due for per the American heart Association guidelines. When Dr. Gage found out that times negativity was related to the physical portion of the stress test he advised there is also a chemical stress test that can be taken. I was glad that he brought This option up as I think Tom will be able to see his way clear to having that. The med techs there are also spot on. The hubby has to get an EKG every six months that correlates with his follow up and the med techs there are very able and proficient. Probably sounds kind of funny to take a treat to the cardiology office but Tom has always drop Dan with round rock donuts for them and I suspect he will do that again this holiday season since I am not planning on baking this year. That's it for now. We highly recommend this cardiologist group and Dr. Gage in particular

I was having some chest pain and fatigue , with mold light headed . I called for appt . Concerning these symptoms and was able to get appt in 2 work. Days ... I had test and discovered I had AFeb.. and was scheduled for more tests, labs, and medication .and one week followup .... I had lots of questions and received answers , I am somewhat anxious , but I believe Dr Greene is on Top of this health problem .... Long story short, after a visit with him last February, he got me on the correct medication, including a heart stress test to diagnose any other problems. Fast forward almost a year later, and I sat down with his assistant Sarah (APRN, AGCNS-BC,RVT), who helped tweak my medication since my blood pressure had risen into the red zone. I appreciate the fact that she was able to squeeze me in on the same day I recognized this issue. There are a few other doctors who also work in this office, which I'm sure are just as good as the two I've had the pleasure of seeing. The folks here are super knowledgeable concerning all heart related issues and spend the time with you to help you understand all the methods of treatment. If you have BCBS, it's usually a $55 co-pay.

He reviewed medical history, previous lab results from another primary doctor and all of the meds that had been taken. What had been "acceptable" results were scrutinized and meds changed to hopefully achieve better results. Professional staff are very capable and execute their roles effectively. .Desk staff are friendly but clear that there are some that need more training.
