The restrooms need to be upgraded and cleaned more often, but the concession area and theaters are always clean. Wicked movie was amazing on Tuesday. Free rewards membership popcorn n deals were great. Bit of a line for them to scan tickets in. Loved the decorations and decor for movies out. I love this theater! It's located in a safe area with plenty of parking. You can buy your tickets ahead of time or when you get there. It's a very simple process. Once inside, there's an arcade to keep busy, there's a cocktail bar, you can order a whole dinner ahead of time or there's the usual concession stand with all the favorites like popcorn, candy and soda. They offer the comfortable, heated lounge seats. It is the best way to see a movie. Look for discounts for seniors, matinees, and other specials. This was my first time seeing a movie in a theatre since 2020. I have always enjoyed going to the movies. I am not sure the $7 price difference for the upgraded theater is worth the price though. The theatre was fairly clean and the seats are definitely comfortable. I do think one of the employees at the concession stand was having a rough day, but we all have them. My girlfriends and I were going to see Black Phone 2 (we are under 17 years) at this movie theater. The website said nothing about an age limit for going to see a rated R movie. My husband and I came in for the first time in a long time because we have kids and it's hard to get out for date night We got a gift card that we got two Christmases ago that we were trying to use, yes that was two Christmases ago you read that right lol! They said that gift cards don't expire but every time we try to use it it said gift card not found and we had the receipt so I'm not sure what had happened. However there is a very nice young gentleman with brown hair working at the front counter he did not have a name tarragon so sadly I did not get his name and I didn't think about asking it, he was very friendly and try to help us out literally being so patient and working with us for about 15 minutes and still could not figure it out. The gentleman ended up giving us two big discounts because of the inconvenience and trying to help us out on our date night which he did not have to do but was sincerely sweet! We definitely will be returning we've never had a bad experience here and everyone is always so kind. We went to the snack bar and I was looking for M&Ms and the young boy behind the counter I was so patient why I circled around every snack station to see if I could find regular M&Ms, which for reference there was none only the peanut butter kind! read more

This was my go to for a good while. I still see things here occasionally. Marcus definitely improved it when they took over, but it still needs an UltraScreen and / or laser projection to keep up with the other complexes in the area. This is my go to spot for movies. I highly recommend it as every theater has the heated suite seats or dreamloungers. Very spacey seating and comfortable. Today we saw Avengers Endgame (which is 3 hrs long) and I was comfy, warm and relaxed the entire time. This was my first time seeing a movie on the MegaScreen and it is HUGE!!! The sound system also sounded great. I usually order tix online in advance and only occasionally order refreshments, so I don't have a lot of "service" interactions. Marcus theatres also have a great reward system where you can earn points toward rewards and $5 movie nights w inexpensive concessiondeals as well. Great for fun, frugal date night :) I really like this theater but scored as a 4 instead of 5 as the restrooms aren't desirable and occasionally the drink refreshment area has a smell that is not "fresh and clean" and the counters are messy. read more

My favorite theatre in the area....there's a beautiful lobby, bar and sports bar area and nice arcade for the kids. The staff is so friendly especially Stephen at the front desk on weekends. The concessions are great and all of the food is delicious. There are theatres with reserved seating and comfortable heated seats too. Very clean and welcoming theatre. The Big Screen Bistro is a dinner and a movie experience. Ordering from the menu (at least one item) is required. The food was similar to Applebee's offerings and not overpriced, $10 for an appetizer for instance. Get here a bit early to get your order placed before the movie starts. Bypass the hot food selections and you can order right to your seat form the concession stand-- popcorn, sour patch kids, you name it! Prices are the same, but make sure you tip the server. Ours did a great job of being attentive while not interrupting the flick. Four stars as the theater was incredibly cold on this January evening. Heated seats helped! read more

I have been to many theaters. This theater is the best compared to much of a 25 mile radius. Large, clean, well established, no drama, seats are spaced between strangers in most designated areas. The teens working there are knowledgeable, helpful, and they make great teams helping each other out. read more

I dont know what happened to the seats in Theater 7 but they are trashed. I had gone to see Captain Marvel but apparently they had shown "Wolverine" in Dolby Surround Slash just prior to my arrival. These were what they advertise as "dream loungers"! Totally ridiculous, but luckily I was the only one in the theater, so found a different seat. There were several seats in the same condition. I thought things had been improved since Marcus took over, but clearly no money is being spent on this location. I am embarrassed for them. read more

Nice loungers but wasn't sure how to work the buttons for heat or massage(?)... there are two buttons. Seats are pleather, very comfortable with room for a large person to sit in. They also recline to any comfortable position you want. Went to see F9... good movie, but not the best of Fast & Furious. The movie just needed a lot more action and suspense. I would have given this theater 4 stars, but the entire time we were watching the movie, the lights were never turned off or dimmed, resulting in a haze from the glare of the lights on the screen so the picture was not crisp. I could have gotten up after the movie started to ask someone to turn off the lights, but the whole point of going to the theater is to watch a movie in its entirety. I certainly didn't have a pause button! After the movie we stopped at the ticket counter and told the clerk who was barely audible. He called someone and then said, "He's on it." We waited a few minutes, thinking a manager would come talk to us. After waiting 4-5 minutes, I asked the clerk again and was told "He's on it." I asked, "What does 'He's on it mean?'" The clerk gave a quirky look and said again, "He's on it." We went back to theater 13 to see if a manager had gone there. Nope, but the lights had been dimmed. No manager, no apology... nothing! Very disappointed since this was the first time we had been to a movie in years! I think we will stick to streaming movies on-line or try a different theater chain. The popcorn was good though, but so is Orville Redenbacher butter popcorn! read more

This is the only place I've seen with heated seats, so awesome. This theater is huge and offers a great selection of hot snacks and food along with a full bar. I'm not sure why it is--but the employees at this theater always seem terribly unhappy and unorganized. Last time we witnessed a young man behind the counted having some sort of melt down about how he couldn't handle doing this sort of work anymore with many, many expletives thrown in. Then there's the actual establishment itself. It is always, always dirty. Trash, popcorn, wrappers, ticket stubs, straws everywhere as soon as you walk into the lobby. But what really set me off the edge was my cup holder. This is such a little thing, I know, but this was absolutely disgusting. And mine was not the only one to look like it. From the beginning on time Wehrenberg to now Marcus this theater just is not good. I'll continue to try and stick to AMC. read more

I hadn't been to the St. Charles Stadium Theatre in a number of years. Since Marcus bought out Wehrenberg they have put some money into the theatres and done some nice renovations. I was in a smaller theater but the seats were redone with the recliners and rotating trays and cup holders. It's great! You can practically lie down while watch a movie if you want. I chose this theatre because it's honestly not that far from Chesterfield and it had the movie Downsizing at a good time for me when none of the closer theatres did. I'd absolutely return. First time at this theater, as we normally go to AMC Streets of St. Charles. It looks a little old and rundown, but I think they have made some renovations within the last year or two since Marcus Theaters took over for Wehrenberg. The reclining seats were a comfortable upgrade although the seat warmer didn't work on my seat. Screen was bright and sound quality was good. Carpets seemed dirty and decor dated but overall okay. When we walked into the building no one took our ticket so that was odd. So I'll probably stick with AMC unless they aren't showing a particular movie I want to see as was the case today. read more

The new purse/bag policy is ridiculous! There is no leave way with the policy. I brought a bag I was questionable about so I had another bag inside. I was told the larger bag could not be brought in, so I emptied it, folded it and put it in the smaller bag. If this policy is about security, they should be checking bags, instead of limiting size. Even TSA is more tolerant about carry-on luggage, where size really is an issue. For carry-ons if it fits in the area box thing it is acceptable. So, if you can squish it to fit, it is permitted. 12 X 12 X 6 limits many normal size purses. My mom's Vera Bradley purse did not fit within the flat square template. Also, they are suggesting that woman leave their purses in their cars if they do not comply. Let's make it easy on thieves. New hot spot for break ins of cars coming soon. Also, under the new policy, it says no outside snacks or drinks. Marcus, we are not stupid. Do not call this policy a safety concern, when immediately below there is the snacks and drinks rule. Marcus should really reconsider this policy. We ended up leaving without seeing our movie. read more

I come here all the time and never think to write a review. It's a nice theater, on one side the bathrooms need updating but I don't come here to go to the bathroom. The reason I'm deciding to finally write a review is because I came here on Tuesday morning to see The Last Voyage of the Demeter and as we were leaving the girl waiting to clean the theater made an effort to try to scare us by telling us (and others leaving) that Queen Akasha from Queen of the Damned was buried on the grounds. Decreasing to one star after my visit today. Seriously, the deplorable condition of this theater is embarrassing. There was a river of popcorn behind the counter at the food order/service station and yeah and popcorn everywhere outside the main entrance and down the hallways to the individual theaters. The manager clearly doesn't care. So AMC will get my money from now on. So gross. The team working the service counter for drinks/food was just awful. Some serious training is needed. Unorganized, no management, no direction, no communication among themselves, spilled popcorn over when giving it to us because they were rushing them got pissy they had to make another one, forgot to give card back after paying and told us she had when she hadn't, upon looking low and behold, she hadn't. It took 15 min to get the "app sampler" that's all fried food, no 15 min needed. Could see gentleman in the kitchen repeatedly running his fingers through his hair in the prep kitchen. And the team back there was more worried about talking to each other than working. Two people in front of us frustrated with their excessive wait times as well for food. No mustard out in condiment area, trash was overflowing. Really poor and unacceptable cleanliness level around food purchase area. It's $5 Tuesday, you know you will be busy so plan and train your team accordingly. read more

This theater is over 20 minutes away from my house but how could I turn down heated lounger seats?!?! I'm notorious for bringing in jackets and blankets into theaters. Now I can just bring a blanket!!! Be aware that the heaters do turn off every so many minutes so make sure you keep turning them on to keep your buns nice and toasty. Where do I even start? I worked here for 9 months and they treat their workers terribly. No breaks on busy days for anyone, minimum wage for doing more than most people do at their high paying jobs, no repercussions for employees who are causing issues, managers not answering the phones, and terrible hours to name a few of the things I hated. Not to mention the fact that when we are busy, everyone goes into lock down. We were always low on stock, low on staff, and not prepared. You felt like you did the work for 4 people when you're only one. And managers did nothing. This caused the quality of the service to go down. This makes customers unhappy. I personally have been threatened to be punched over POPCORN! I could go on for years by why you should never work/go to Marcus theaters, but I have better things to do. read more

No lines even on the night we went to see EndGame. The concessions weren't overly expensive. Our theatre was clean enough, and the seats were LEGIT (love the heated recliners). We were impressed! My only complaint was the way their dine-in is set up where you have to be in the theatre 30 minutes ahead of time. If we were planning on leaving the house early, we'd probably eat at a restaurant. That eliminates some of the convenience of dine-in. But that's just my opinion. Otherwise, awesome. read more

This is the closest major theater to my home, so I have been here a lot. The prices are high, but not any different from any other theater. The staff is very nice, and they work quickly so you don't have to worry about missing your movie. The lobby, quite honestly, is very uninviting. The front lobby is small and people are often crammed in there while buying tickets. However, the inside lobby is huge and a major waste of space. There are video games all over, which I never see being played. It just feels very cold and junked up. The theaters themselves are nice, but some are small. When it gets crowded, they need to gt an usher in to help people find seats in the dark. None of the patrons will ever help, and nobody can see. The last two crowded movies I attended had a bunch of people hanging out in the dark yelling out to find seats, and nobody was answering them. It was kind of creepy. However, I choose Wehrenberg over AMC. They just seem nicer, and offer more movie times. read more

Marcus theater, this is my favorite cinema in the Saint Louis area! They have their reclining seats and heated seats. I'm giving 4 stars because this is the best in the area. The only thing that I would say is that the lights from their seats for the heating switch needs to be dim. Its too bright! But you get use to it. Their new bag policy is garbage. They measure the bags laying flat, so if your purse is floppy, it can go over their square by just a few centimeters. I told the guy if it was stuffed or upright, it measures correctly but he said it doesn't matter. What does this even prevent?
