He shared how his passion for cooking was born in his mother's kitchen--a place where food meant connection, celebration, and comfort. That story set the perfect tone for what we were about to enjoy. Chef Dixon and his team served several of their crowd-pleasing classics, including savory meatballs, warm spinach-artichoke dip, and flavorful Southwest pinwheels. My wife and I loved everything, but that spinach-artichoke dip was on a completely different level--rich, creamy, and one of the best versions we've ever had. Like the Zhou B Art Center, I wasn't aware of Season's Classic Catering before this event, even though they've been serving Kansas City since 2014. Their food was outstanding, their presentation was polished, and their staff couldn't have been more gracious or efficient. I'm so glad the Yelpies introduced us to them. If you're planning an event and want a caterer who brings both heart and flavor to the table, Season's Classic Catering deserves to be on your shortlist.

We hired Geaux Catering to provide professional chef services for our parents 50th wedding…read moreanniversary as we are out of state and covid had made thrown a monkey wrench in their plans and it was the best decision we made! Chef Jamaal consulted with us regarding our preferences for the menu and emailed us his suggestions. He was very accommodating to all our request and even had suggestions of his own. He came up with a menu of crab cakes appetizer, salad, and surf and turf Oscar (filet and prawns topped with jumbo lump crab meat and hollandaise sauce), bacon wrapped asparagus, and Prosecco. He arrived early to set up at my parents home and cooked and beautifully plated all the food. When he left, the kitchen was completely cleaned and left how he found it. My parents said everything was 5 star abs tasted amazing. Chef Jamaal even took Covid precautions and wore a mask. We couldn't have been more pleased and my parents say it's the best gift they've gotten. I would 100% recommend his company and services to anyone in the Kansas City area.

I had Moxie catering cater my wedding last week (10/18). I will tell you that for me, and my…read morehusband the most important part about planning any party is the food, so when it came to catering my wedding, I had no idea where to start. We had visited their restaurant, and was in love with the food. We called Jill, and she met with us and it was like she read our minds with the menu and suggested tons of "out-of-the-box" ideas. We then did our tasting where again, was blown away by not only the options she offered us, but also the quality. This is not the ordinary "Wedding Food" it's much much more and all of our wedding guests mentioned that to us at the reception. The quality of the food and service (all of the staff asked me several times if i wanted food or beverage brought to me as it's difficult to get in eating anything as a bride). When you are at a wedding tasting you expect that the actual wedding would be less quality, because of the quantity of people, but this is not the case, this was mine and I'd say a majority of our guests favorite part of the reception. T'm VERY confident that Jill, will help anyone organize and provide quality food and service. Top Notch Catering. :) Thanks again!

We had Moxie cater our wedding a month ago and it was a great experience. The wedding was about…read more200 people and Moxie did a cheese table, appetizers, a seated salad, and a full dinner buffet. They also handled some of the various glassware needs we had. To address the complaints about their responsiveness, I didn't have issues communicating at all with them (I worked with Jill). Sometimes an email would have a turn around of a day or two, but those communications were not urgent and I was very comfortable that if I felt I needed a response quickly I could pick up the phone and call. The food was outstanding, which I feel other reviewers here have expressed appropriately. What really stood out to me was their level of experience and willingness to help "fill in the cracks" with the wedding planning. They knew and had experience with the other vendors I was using and so could just take care of things without me needing to be directly involved (as a working bride, that was huge). Jill also helped me make sure things weren't missed, for example, linen orders, and just generally made me feel more comfortable that everything was going to go smoothly. On the day of the wedding, everything seemed to just magically happen, though I know a lot of that was due to Moxie. I've actually had several comments after the wedding that everything seemed super "organized" and perfectly planned, which I found almost laughable as I really had no idea what I was doing and kind of let things run wild. Wedding planning was kind of amateur-hour in my case, but Moxie made me look like a pro. So, if you love great food, Moxie is a great choice. But more importantly, if you're anything like me and planning a large event is totally outside of your experience base, Moxie is the best choice!

I had Mike at Silber Spoons Catering cater for a client I had in Overland Park for about 10 days…read more I contacted him via his online website and heard from him the next day. I gave him my budget and outlined my needs. He took it from there and put together, from th esounds of it - really delicious daily menus. Of course, I am not local to the area and am only in charge of coordinating the lunches for my clients' events, but from a business standpoint - it seems like Mike runs a good one and I haven't heard any complaints on the food so they MUST have happy bellies! I've read other reviews on other sites and they were outstanding - which is why I chose to go with Silber Spoon. Mike is really quick to respond and make adjustments as needed. He is reasonably priced and provided a fabulous daily menu for my clients. He delivered on time every day and when I requested drinks with the deliveries, he suggested that he would supplement the drinks from day-to-day so I wouldn't be purchasing an overload of beverages. I thought this was a nice touch because I wouldn't have known the difference either way and he could have just charged me for it and continued delivering gallons and gallons of lemonade. Invoices are easy to read and the payment process was easy. I was sent a receipt at the end of each week and there were no discrepancies. Love caterers I can trust to take care of the job for me because I have been in some really crappy situations. Highly recommend Silber Spoon Catering.

They were always prompt in responding to any questions I had. I've had to "babysit" event professionals in the past.
