Taylor was our focal point for everything we needed to have an excellent experience. First off the tasting appt went very well and they allowed us to try and taste 8 items. There were a couple things I didn't like and the good news is that I didn't have to order them for the event. We selected a plated service and our confirmed guest list was right at 150, which they had no difficulties handling. We offered 3 options to our guest and I have to say all three of them received high praise. 1. Crab crusted Halibut 2. Braised Short-rib 3. Cornbread Stuffed Chicken A starch, vegetables, rolls and salad made for a great meal. They even offered a cake cutting service which made the entire night feel stress free. We also had a charcuterie board to begin the evening with our cocktail hour and most of that was eaten. Payment options were easy to deal with and although moderately priced everything seemed worth it. Once again Taylor was there every step of the way. Thanks Brancatos for a great experience and evening.

We hired Geaux Catering to provide professional chef services for our parents 50th wedding…read moreanniversary as we are out of state and covid had made thrown a monkey wrench in their plans and it was the best decision we made! Chef Jamaal consulted with us regarding our preferences for the menu and emailed us his suggestions. He was very accommodating to all our request and even had suggestions of his own. He came up with a menu of crab cakes appetizer, salad, and surf and turf Oscar (filet and prawns topped with jumbo lump crab meat and hollandaise sauce), bacon wrapped asparagus, and Prosecco. He arrived early to set up at my parents home and cooked and beautifully plated all the food. When he left, the kitchen was completely cleaned and left how he found it. My parents said everything was 5 star abs tasted amazing. Chef Jamaal even took Covid precautions and wore a mask. We couldn't have been more pleased and my parents say it's the best gift they've gotten. I would 100% recommend his company and services to anyone in the Kansas City area.

I had Mike at Silber Spoons Catering cater for a client I had in Overland Park for about 10 days…read more I contacted him via his online website and heard from him the next day. I gave him my budget and outlined my needs. He took it from there and put together, from th esounds of it - really delicious daily menus. Of course, I am not local to the area and am only in charge of coordinating the lunches for my clients' events, but from a business standpoint - it seems like Mike runs a good one and I haven't heard any complaints on the food so they MUST have happy bellies! I've read other reviews on other sites and they were outstanding - which is why I chose to go with Silber Spoon. Mike is really quick to respond and make adjustments as needed. He is reasonably priced and provided a fabulous daily menu for my clients. He delivered on time every day and when I requested drinks with the deliveries, he suggested that he would supplement the drinks from day-to-day so I wouldn't be purchasing an overload of beverages. I thought this was a nice touch because I wouldn't have known the difference either way and he could have just charged me for it and continued delivering gallons and gallons of lemonade. Invoices are easy to read and the payment process was easy. I was sent a receipt at the end of each week and there were no discrepancies. Love caterers I can trust to take care of the job for me because I have been in some really crappy situations. Highly recommend Silber Spoon Catering.

I seem to have come to prefer contacting businesses through e-mail or social networks. I think it works better and gives both parties more time. Though I did speak with her husband when he delivered the food. It was the second year for the Bode, Bottles and Burgers party and this year I wanted to forgo the normal potato chips, rotel, etc. So I contacted (via e-mail) Express*ive Catering after attending their open house. Bonnie came up with a menu that she thought would fit with the main course and for 40 people: Roasted red pepper hummus with cumin-rubbed toasted pita triangles, BLT salad, savory cheese spread with sesame crisps and sliced fruit and berries. It was the perfect amount and everyone loved it, especially the savory cheese spread. Realize that the four items I got hardly cover what is available from this caterer. An entire meal can be had from apps to dessert.

To be honest, I've hosted so many events that I know exactly what I'm looking for & how much I have to spend. I contacted Eric & let him know how many people I was expecting, what I had to spend & what type of menu I wanted to have. Eric & the staff at EA Catering & Sons took it from there. They were always prompt in responding to any questions I had. I've had to "babysit" event professionals in the past. I was so confident in Eric & EA Catering that I didn't even show up to the event until it was time to meet my guests. Eric & his staff were promptly set up & waiting for guests to arrive well in advance of the start of my event. Furthermore, they cooked all of the food fresh and on site! The staff was polite, professional & courteous. I can't say enough about how easy they made my event. And believe me-I had my challenges with this one which included an event "professional" showing up drunk. Thank you EA Catering & Sons for being the best & easiest part of planning my event. Not only will I use your company in the future, but you're the ONLY ONE that I will trust to handle all of my catering needs. Thank you so much! Kelley

The event was an exhibit opening that centered on the Museum's new exhibit: What is Modernism? It's all about the 1950s and 1960s. He worked with us to create an excellent menu of fondue, smoked salmon crackers, and other treats that felt very evocative of the period. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to have a personal/ one-on-one experience that is fitted to your needs and event. The price and quality were amazing, as I felt we got very high quality food for a very reasonable price. Hopefully, we will be able to work with Eric again when we have other events!

Review on attending Celebration honoring Cinco de Mayo. Guadalupe Center does such amazing things…read morefor the community so I have no problem at all supporting them, not to mention most of the entertainment is free. The center on the outside is beautiful and kept in pristine condition. It kicks off Friday night, I did not go but the info on it said this would be the only time you would need to pay to get in to see the band. Saturday, I went and their was a band playing traditional Hispanic music. A big white tent was set up to shield the crowd from the elements. The weather was pretty perfect. Grabbed some tacos and horchata before sitting to take it all in. Different groups rotated up, my favorite was the little senoritas and seniors, they were so cute acting so grown up, excellent little dancers, nailed it! The music though is really loud, Im sure it can be heard for blocks. Walking around outside of the centers courtyard their were tons of inflatable bounce houses and slides(I think available Saturday only), a possible 8. For 12$ the kiddos can get an unlimited bracelet for the day. Lots of vendors selling wrestling masks, ponchos to Mexican candy and of course lots more food options. I usually get either mango with chamoy or fruit veggie cup with chamoy and lime. It seemed to me their were an unusual high amount of officers present which was welcomed if not to make sure all the little kiddos running around were safe. The event is very family friendly. The roads surrounding are closed off. For now traffic comes in waves so parking spots have a good turn over rate. I can see though that if this event grows in popularity parking will get tricky. Every year the event evolves a little more, its good now but I can see it becoming great.
