The best Suwanee's pizza I ever try and inside of the restaurant is comfy. And the sauce is so so good and I always buy from here.

I really wanted something else, but most quick and easy places were closed due to the icy roads, and we were hungry and didn't feel like driving far. So...Marco's it is! We stepped inside to get some carryout. The restaurant is small, but was pretty empty given the road conditions. We were greeted with a smile, and asked what we wanted. I was debating BBQ chicken versus something with some spice, but I know my boyfriend wanted the spicy one, so we decided on a medium pineapple with jalapeno. You can get the crust either regular or thin and crispy, but I love carbs, so we opted for regular. We got home, and both starved, devoured the medium with no problem. As far as taste, I'd say it was okay. The cheese wasn't the kind that melts in your mouth. The crust was a bit hard and tasteless, and the sauce was definitely lacking. It barely had any sauce on it at all. What I did like however was the spice. They did have plenty of pineapple and jalapenos on top, and their jalapenos had a nice spice to them. For whatever reason, Papa John's jalapenos do not pack the same heat as these here. For those not in the pizza mood, they also offer different types of subs, salads, wings, desserts, and sides like cheesy bread or meatballs. I did like that they offer different types of dips and dressings if you need something additional to add flavor to your meal. But overall, the pizza didn't amaze me, and it would not be a top choice in the future. read more

I have ordered takeout here a few times although there are tables for dining in. The restaurant doesn't seem very clean, however the pizza is always consistent. I like the pepperoni pizza and cheese bread is the best. Customer service needs improvement. read more

This pizza place is located in the Publix shopping center, next to subway. It's the first time I've had Marcos, as I've seen a few of these pizza places popping up in Alpharetta/Suwanee/Cumming. Felt like trying something different for a change. I liked the setup in the store. Reminded me of the old school Pizza Huts with the tables (just missing the table pacman arcade game). It's a smaller dining area but def feels like a pizza joint. I ordered take out but wouldn't mind coming back to do the indoor seating. They weren't busy at all, and nobody at the tables. I ordered a large cheese pizza and cheese bread. The bread was decent, had lots of garlic and semi greasy to the touch. It came with two sauces to dip, and I loved the marinara sauce. The cheese pizza was ok. It wasn't mind blowing and could have used more sauce but I'd give it an average rating. It was $17+ for my order, so pricing was ok. Overall, not a bad experience. Don't recall music, and that would be a nice touch. Place was clean, and they do have about 4 window ledge seats. I'd come back here again. read more

I'm giving 4 stars not because it's the best pizza around, but because it's by far the best pizza of the big 4 (IMHO). Dominos, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars and Papa Johns don't come close to this pie. The crust, cheese and ingredients are much better with Marcos and coupons are readily available to get a good deal. If you haven't tried them, then do yourself a favor on football Sunday or whatever, give them a try. Note to Marcos... use fresh mushrooms. read more

Received a flier in he mail for Marco's... thought I would try it out. On the flier, it says "We deliver to your neighborhood". Upon calling, I get a woman who is unsure if they deliver to my area. With the language barrier, I think I spelled the name of my street 4 times. She then tells me she will check. After lots of yelling and a couple random conversations, I am told they do NOT in fact deliver to my neighborhood. I then call another location who informs me the previous-- Mathis Airport location is where I need to call. Nope. Never again. read more

After moving to the area in December, we started ordering from Marco's regularly. It was the perfect compromise between someone who likes Pizza Hut (me) and someone who likes Papa John's (husband). The pizza was tasty, had an enjoyable crust, and the salads were good too. We were ordering delivery from here once every week or two, either online or over the phone, and had been quite satisfied. But Thursday night was the last time we will be ordering delivery from Marco's. We placed our order online at 6:30pm and given an estimated delivery time of 30 minutes, as always. They had never had a problem with the 30 minute timing in the past; we live 2 miles from Marco's. At 7:45, we were still waiting, so I gave them a call. "I'm sorry, but we've been waiting for our pizza for over an hour, and I want to make sure our order wasn't lost." The lady on the phone asked who we were -- "Jones or Amanda?" "Amanda..." Okay, so there were only two of us that had been waiting this long. "Yes ma'am, it'll be there soon, we've been very busy." No "sorry." At 8:25, my husband, hungry and outraged, called and cancelled the order, because at almost two hours, no pizza had arrived. The person on the phone this time offered no explanation or apology, and just said he'd "take care of it." At 8:50, the doorbell rings. I had just thrown dinner together, and my husband was too angry to answer the door, so I politely explained to the delivery person that it had been two hours and twenty minutes, at this point, and we had cancelled the order 30 minutes ago. (Meaning that the pizza had been sitting in his car at least that long--it was cold when it got to us.) I told him I was sorry, but he could keep the pizza because we wouldn't be paying for it. Even the driver seemed upset at this point, and he checked his phone--no one at the store had bothered to call him to tell him not to deliver the pizza! He apologized profusely, explaining that they only had two drivers working that night, and told me to keep the pizza, saying that if his manager wasn't okay with that, he'd pay for it himself. (Now THAT is service, folks.) So, in summary: the drivers are doing the best they can, and the cooks are good, but the management is awful. At some point in those two and a half hours, they should have been able to call in more people to come to work. Heck, if the manager really cared, he could have driven the pizza to us himself--it would have taken 5 minutes. Furthermore, the woman on the phone knew that we were one of two households that had been waiting over an hour--so why wouldn't we have gotten top priority? We live TWO MILES from Marco's, and we ordered ONE PIZZA. We could have driven to the Publix next door, bought some dough, and made it ourselves twice in that time. Also: the charge is still appearing on our card; we may have to make some phone calls to get it cleared, because they don't appear to have cancelled it. Good grief. The next time we want pizza, I don't know who we'll call, but it won't be Marco's. read more

This review isnt about the pizza itself but more so this location specifically and the customer service. I placed an order over the phone and the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and had an attitude. While placing my order she hung up on me mid sentence when I was in the middle of asking something. Secondly, because of COVID procedures I had to call once I was there to pick up the pizza. While on the phone with her the second time she was rude and hung up AGAIN in the middle of me speaking. Third, I'm not sure if it was the language barrier but I asked for no mushrooms on my garden pizza but there were still mushrooms on it. It wasn't a big deal for me to remove them but I was already annoyed with the employee's attitude, and after reading the other reviews on this location I'm not surprised to see that others have had issues with the customer service here. Marcos Pizza by Publix on Providence Road West is hands down - great pizza if you are wanting gluten-free crust. The sauce is great - the topics are plentiful, and the crust is way better than the soggy fare available at other pizza establishments who offer gluten free options. I worked at Marco's Pizza owned by the Hansalia family at 3130 Mathis Airport Road as a delivery driver from January 2016 to November 2019. Working for them is awful - G treats everyone that works there like they are stupid, and doesn't listen to what the employees say at all about anything. She runs the business like a dictator, and even implemented a highly restrictive talking policy for awhile. She is demeaning and talks down to everyone. Drivers keep their tips, but tips for carry out orders or cash that goes into the tip jar on the front counter go straight into the Hansalia's pocket. Eating there is questionable at best - They are disgusting; I have personally watched S take slimy, wilted spinach out of a trash can and rinse it off and put it back in the cooler. I have also watched him remove expired labels from food containers and replace them with new ones. Salad regularly gets left out at room temperature for hours and is still used in salads. The quality of the pizza is not bad for a fast food pizza joint, but after trying this place a few times, I won't be returning for a while until I see a significant change in customer service. Last time I called the first thing the guy said was, "Name?" (with a ghetto attitude). I couldn't understand him well and I said, "I'm sorry?". "Name!" he responded. I told him my name and asked him for the $7.99 large one topping pizza deal they had been running for several months. His response was, "We ended that like 6 months ago." I told him I had just ordered that same deal a few weeks back, and he corrected me saying again, "That ended 6 months ago." I'm not even sure if Marco's was open 6 months ago. I responded, "Well I thought you guys were still running the $7.99 deal, I'm not sure exactly what I want to get then." And then he hung up the phone. I think it's important to realize that poor customer service is more than just a reflection of one individual employee, its a reflection of the leadership of the franchise. Customer service starts from the top. You can train anybody to have good customer services skills. Walk into a chick-fil-a and you'll clearly see that they have good leadership skills. When I experience service like this, I know that its a reflection of the leadership at the franchise. This is the same service thats going into making my pizza. I've never had good customer service at Marco's in the past, but it wasn't to the point that it turned me off completely. I understand as an employee its easy to focus on the task at hand and not think about the customer experience, but I choose not to go to a restaurant if their thoughts aren't focused on making it a positive customer experience. read more

The fact that 2 sandwiches took over 30 minutes was a joke. Even if it was busy I could understand if the service I got was good. Rebakh was rude and made us feel like we were bothering her while she continued to socialize with all her friends that were visiting her. This is not my standard Marco's location. So you could imagine how surprised I was when I called and they knew my name from my cell number. I continue to place my order, for pick-up. Once I arrive, I am told it is $52.93 for two large (5-topping) pizzas and two orders of cheesy bread. I question the cost, and that I am usually charged as a specialty, sub sausage (after all, they have my info in their system and we almost always order the same thing). The gentleman behind the counter says it's because I had 5 toppings. So he charged me by the topping, instead of charging as a specialty pizza. This was an additional $17.50 before taxes. When I ask him if he realizes he charged me nearly $20 that way, his response was, "Yes. I see that" and hands me my receipt. Fail, Marcos. We were using a coupon that was sent to us to get our business back. The lady taking the order harassed us about using the coupon. She was rude and we almost cancelled the order. Just ordered the New York XL extra cheese w/ half sausage and mushrooms. The pizza was packed w/ extra cheese and was delicious. I love the large sausages, it was really good. I am already a fan of their pizza's but I noticed that they have really picked up the pace and I received my pizza in about 20 mins, no joke and that was delivery!!! Outrageous! I am a local teacher who has been a loyal customer of this location for many years. We always order pizzas for delivery whenever we have a pizza party for the children. However, with my last experience I will NOT be ordering from them again. To make a long story short, they have drastically reduced the size of their pizzas but are still charging the same price for them. The "small" sized pizzas we received were only the size of a personal / individual pizza at any other establishment. Of course, they still cost $8. Basically, they cook what was once a small pizza, call it a medium pizza, and charge the same price as the old - and much bigger - medium pizza! We will NEVER order from them again! read more

So, into this pathetic picture of pizza putridity comes Marco's, a chain restaurant in a Publix shopping center. The lack of quality pie around here is so bad that I drove by this place three times in the last two weeks to see if it was open yet. Today, at lunch, it was. Very small dining area of 6 tables and two tall counters, basically a takeout and deliver operation. Ordered my standard 'za: ground beef, black olives, 'shrooms, sliced tomatoes. They don't have artichoke hearts (dang). Upon arrival, the pie exhibited good char underneath and a good chewy heel. Ingredients were evenly distributed, although it was missing my sliced tomatoes. Having read the company literature while awaiting my round victim, I expected to see much more meat than I received. To compound matters, the mushrooms were canned. The sauce was, at least, flavorful, and no oily residue was in evidence. If this was a review comparing 'za to ITP or even Alpharetta, I'd stick a 2 on this. Love their pizza, however we always order pizza sauce for dipping and it never comes. We have probably ordered 7 times and no pizza sauce. We pay for it every time. Well, tonight the pizza sauce came, but the expiration date on each sauce was 11/11/16. So, the expiration date was over 45 days ago. I placed a carryout order and AFTER I picked up my order. I arrived home opened the boxes and realized it it not what I ordered. Within minutes I received a phone call from Marco's Pizza stating they gave me the wrong pizza boxes. I was asked if it was possible for a delivery person to meet me a my residence to swap the correct order and they need the pizza I picked up for another consumer delivery. Let me just say... As a consumer, it is unacceptable to swap food once possession has been exchanged for other consumer consumption. The person on the phone stated they could not give me an ETA but it would be at their convenience of the delivery person. I opted to DRIVE back to the store and was offered a 15% discount on my next visit. Needless to say. I will NEVER order from from this establishment again. Extremely dissatisfied!!! read more

Really bad takeout. It was just bad. I'm not someone who even bothers with this sort of thing. If you order a pizza with a topping and it has 7 pieces of that topping(in this case bacon) on the whole thing,my perceived value is shot. im thinking Dominos,Pizza Hut and whatever are superstars at this point.
