I'm not sure if you can consider this place a taste of New York here in Fayetteville or not…read more I've had many different pizza from all over the United States and to be honest this does not rank high on the list. Let me start off by saying the service is absolutely perfect. The gentleman behind the counter was very welcoming and friendly. The inside has plenty of seating, a couple of TVs to watch sports or whatever they have on and for the most part, it was clean with the exception I noticed one guy sitting at one of the tables vaping. Now onto the pizza, which to me was not impressive at all, we had purchased six pizzas, three with pepperoni and three cheese and this was for a birthday party and we still have three full pizzas left not too many of the guests were impressed with the pizza it seemed that the dough was old and I'm not sure if that is a term to use or not, but it just seemed when you bit into the slice, it was very hard and not so much on a chewy side and doughy side and very hard to chew. We had a few comments at the party about it, and we could not provide them within adequate answer other than our apologies for ordering from this shop. The pepperoni pizza generally, you spread the pepperoni all over the pizza, but for some strange reason, a lot of the pepperoni were geared more towards the middle of the pizza, which I can't understand why, and it was extremely greasy, which could be understandable based upon the type of pepperoni, which did not seem to be a higher quality than normal, and that would be the same for the cheese. It depends on the cheese as well. In my humble opinion, I think there are a better pizza places in the area other than your national chains which we try to avoid, but I'm not so sure about Brooklyn pizza.

They don't have an overwhelming draft or canned menu which to me is appreciated. I don't mind choices however when you have a craft beer menu that's deep it can be quite daunting. So to the Heckler crew, thank you for keeping it simple. This visit I had the Fried Pickles which if being honest were good but they're not the best I've had. If I could give a recommendation I would move away from the breading that's being used as I feel it takes away from the actual pickle which for me is about 90% of the taste profile. The breading was a bit overpowering. Sometimes simple is better. But that's just my opinion as a fried pickle enthusiast. Now as for the pizza, I have to give a solid high five. I've been here three times and everytime I've gotten a pizza and none have disappointed. This time around I got the meat lovers and it was fresh, and delicious. Overall, Heckler is a great place to go and one thing I do love about this place is that it's always a chill vibe, with great service.

IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT YOUR CUSTOMERS THEN YOU NEED NOT BE IN BUSINESS.. I have been a supporter of Marco Pizza since they first came to Fayetteville.. I had never had a problem until the last few times I ordered from this store.. Not only was my pizza cold on occassions.. but the delivery guy would tell the store they came and tried to deliver when me an my family were outside.. they never showed up.. I had paid delivery fees and ended up having to pick up my pizza.. the staff has bad customer service.. they were very rude and had the worse attitudes you could possibly find.. When I contacted the owner, he never contacted me back.. needless to say our businesses, partners, family nor friends order from his stores any longer.. I WOULD NOT HAVE GIVEN THEM ONE STAR BUT YOU HAVE TO AT LEAST GIVE THEM ONE TO LEAVE A REVIEW.. THEY ARE NO LONGER WORTH THE ONE IN MY BOOK ANYMORE.. read more

Very good pizza, great customer service. Have ordered many times and my family has loved every pizza we have tried. 2 times the delivery was taking over an hour, upon calling they were amazing to rectify the situation and ensure we were satisfied and taken care of. Pizza Hut and dominoes leave us feeling sick after eating it but Marcos ingredients seem much more fresh and hopefully less fake stuff that than the other pizza places as we never are left feeling sick in any way like the other pizza chains make us feel. If looking for a good place to get pizza delivered from I highly recommend Marcos :) read more
