We love Marcos! Their pineapple pizza is usually pretty fire. Don't order delivery if you can help it, it never turns out good in my experience. I've had better experiences picking up than having it delivered. My experiences here have been overall pretty good. Their gluten-free pizza is alright, truly nothing special and reminded me a bit of cardboard with the lack of texture. I've had some fantastic gluten free pizzas and this one was not it. Ordered two small pizzas for the first time. Each one were in a pizza box which had no tissue paper underneath. So when trying to remove the pizza it was stuck to the box and lost most of the pizza!!! also ordered a small Greek salad which had a lot of brown discolored lettuce ended up throwing the whole thing out this was a major disappointment!!!! I ordered online. Then when I got to the store 3 cashiers working and the blond hair cashier looked at me and told me she would be to help me in a min. I had my toddler so we waited over 30 minutes for our pizza. When I interrupted her conversation "cause obviously it was more important than serving customers" and told her I ordered online she told me she thought I was DD and didn't help me cause she didn't see any DD orders. I'm on a plant-based diet and I've been missing pizza. I walked by Marcos on my way to Publix and it smelled so good!! I ordered a veggie pizza without cheese and it's FANTASTIC! Their veggies are so fresh (and olentifuand the dough and sauce are fabulous. The owners were working the front and they were so personable and friendly. I'll definitely be back! ***update*** I ordered delivery and the pizza was still fresh and delicious just like it was when I had it at their location. I felt I had to write a review for Marco's in Palm City after complimenting a male employee one day with how nice, professional, accommodating they ALWAYS are. I said I was going to write a "Yelp" review and he advised they don't have many positive reviews on Yelp. I was surprised. The bottom line is this is a pizza chain, just like Papa John's, Domino's, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars. Each chain has their own unique pizza. Everyone has different tastes. To each is own. I personally think Marco's is good pizza at a good price. Yes, I agree with other reviewers, that there is better pizza out there but at a much higher cost. My 11yoa daughter loves Marco's. She asks for it every week now. We enjoy sitting outside at their tables eating. They provide plates, napkins, grated cheese, etc. Their customer service is outstanding, on par with Chick-Fil-A, who are well known for their amazing service. Every single time without fail, their employees are so nice and friendly. I usually order my pizzas with special instructions like light cheese and light sauce, and they couldn't be more accommodating and never act like its an inconvenience. I am someone who truly appreciates great service. For instance, I shop at the Publix next door due to their friendly service, as opposed to Walmart where I could save money, because its always a horrendous experience. Update so a friend of mine said hey, you know let's give it a second chance. I said okay, and wow...I don't know why, it's really just not good. The same or worse quality as last time. I don't get why someone would truly want to purchase from this franchise, I don't know why you would want to be apart of this low quality product producing franchise. Funny thing is the positive reviews on here are clearly from friends ( which are now gone, expect for 1 that's left haha ) because they're all posted the same day and only talk about stuff the owners would ask them to mention like specific pizzas, the staff and owners. And the kicker is none of them live in the area...so yea...definitely rigged reviews. It's really bad business to promote fake reviews for your company. Get your food quality up and the real positive reviews will follow. From a person also in the industry, market yourself in a positive manner instead of asking friends to vouch for you; the truth matters. Not some fake reviews. The truth always comes out. Seriously have no idea how this pizza chain has lasted 40 years. There is no other word to describe it but terrible. In the whole of Martin County I'm pretty sure you can not find a more sad, pathetic, disappointing and disgusting excuse for a pizza (I'm making an educated guess based on a rather large sample size). Very disappointed! Ordered Pizza with sausage and mushrooms. Mushrooms are CANNED, not fresh; sauce is minimal with little flavor and crust is tasteless as well. Also got 1 order of wings -- $10 for 10 super small wings and nothing to write home about. We will not be back. read more
