Finding something like that mixed into a pasta dish was incredibly concerning. They did comp her meal and offered desserts, which we appreciated. Since we were out celebrating and drinking rather than looking for dessert, we asked whether they could do birthday shots or something similar instead. They declined, which is their prerogative, but then nothing else was offered and the birthday itself was never acknowledged. Between the reservation being for a birthday, the foreign object in her food, and the overall experience, it felt like multiple opportunities to make things right were missed. I really wanted to continue loving this place, especially because I remember how good it used to be. But after several disappointing experiences recently, I don't think I can keep recommending it the way I once did.
