After that exchange there was not a sign of accommodation considering we waited almost 45min in total to get our pizza. The location was not very busy at the time so we figured it wouldn't be long. The service was terrible and they didn't have a the slightest concern for how long we had to wait. I used to love going here but it seems the service has gone down hill since my last visit.

I happened to be in the area and saw they were doing 50% off all pizza orders done online. I arrived 10 minutes after ordering and their online progress of the order was done within a minute or two of arriving! The sale must've been pretty popular as there were several cars leaving and arriving in the few minutes I was there. I didn't have to wait long inside to get my food. The place looked really clean. $4.80 for a medium pepperoni thin crust pizza is a GREAT deal! My only complaint was that they didn't include the two parmesan packets I ordered. Oh, well. Maybe they were out? Pizza tasted great. I ate all but one piece!

Still, it wasn't the worst problem to have, and we thought maybe the taste could salvage the situation. No such luck. The flavors were either super bland or overpowering. If we had the opportunity we definitely wouldn't order from Howie's again. I will give them this--there were plenty of options to choose from on the menu and the crust flavorings, which is apparently their claim to fame, were plentiful. Wouldn't recommend, wouldn't order from them again. Maybe the subs, salads, or wings are worth it? I personally wouldn't bother finding out for myself after having had the pizza and breadsticks but if you're an adrenaline junkie who loves taking risks, go ahead and try Howie's.

Have tried the pizza, BBQ, and the subs and everything was very good. The pizza has very generous toppings and is flavorful. The BBQ is all homemade and the side of baked beans was some of the best I have ever had anywhere. I tried the Chicken Bacon Ranch sub and it was also very good. The place is very clean with just a few tables, with the majority of the business being carry-out. Be forwarned it can get very busy at peak times and the pickup wait times can get long. They also do not have a soda fountain which means all drinks are from a cooler with a 2-liter running about $3. Finally, if you are going to use a charge card there is a convenience fee that will be added to your order, but it is not a lot. If you're in the area this is a cool little place with some really good food.
