You pay for convenience...with this market 10 miles from Springfield, you can imagine prices are high for items such canned goods, flour and sugar. They also are inconsistent on what they have and no one but the owner can answer when items will be restocked. Seriously, there has been an item out for over a week now and no one knows when they will get more because the owner wont tell them.
My fam has bought take and bake pizza several times which usually is acceptable but nothing to jump for joy over. Tonight was by far the worst pizza. The bottom was fully cooked, the toppings were fully cooked but the inside was raw(tell tale signs of frozen dough). This made the cheese have a wierd gunky-ness that was more like wall of paste than ohh ahh moment of cheesy heaven-ness that pizza lovers expect. The sauce was the worst part as it tasted like they opened a can of tomato sauce and threw in some italian seasoning...poorly I might add.
The owner is difficult to work with. The customer is not number one in his store. He is actually been bitchy towards me as I stood in line to a broken cash register...totally zoned out he made a very rude comment about "Cant you see its broken"..."now that mention it yes, thank you for waking me out of my dazed trance or i might have tried to pay to an upside down register"
If you go early in the morning he is not such an ass and actually greets people. I typically make a bee line for the items of choice, pay and get the hell out of there. Its sad that he has such poor customer service as you would think he would make an effort to be to his local customers base. read more
