Jimmy showed up at the exact time he said he would, took the time to explain the system to me, and quickly identified that the previous owners had actually left the sump pump system incomplete. He walked me through what had been done, explained what still needed to be addressed, and gave me recommendations for who to contact for the next steps. What impressed me most was that Jimmy was incredibly helpful despite the fact that there ultimately wasn't a service he could provide or anything for him to sell me. He treated my home and my questions with the same level of care and professionalism I would expect from a contractor I had hired for a major job. I truly hope I have the opportunity to work with Jimmy and Allstate Mechanical in the future. The level of professionalism, knowledge, and genuine helpfulness was unmatched. Highly recommend!

Showing up late, AFTER the multi-hour window we agreed upon.. the technician took a brief look and told me this was an "all-day" job and quoted me $2,200. Also $600 to examine the power from a single wall socket. This takes literally 5 seconds with the right tool!! Jaw dropping. I used a different electrician today, who did the job with a coworker perfectly in ONE HOUR and charged me $400. I've never felt so ripped off in my life by an estimate (from Safe and Sound Electric). And wasting half of my work day for it. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them. Beyond ridiculous.

Not only was Aidan knowledgeable and completely prepared with everything he needed to tackle the job, he was also incredibly personable, reassuring and easy to work with. He took the time to explain what was happening, offered helpful insight along the way and made me feel completely comfortable with the process.
