Food options are plentiful. This is a gem as far as airport food goes. It's Switzerland so of course everything costs more but there are options that are good value for money. My chicken soup (Asian-style) was flavorful. This is just a small size that I got. For this workstation, they have the soup where you can pick either small or large and also select if you just want chicken, or tofu or prawns or a combination. There are vegetables as well. They also have veggie or chicken curry over rice. My husband got the mozzarella tomato basil (caprese) sandwich. You can also watch he chefs make rosti (potato dish similar to Spanish torta), cinnamon rolls and other stuff. They have a salad station, coffee, snacks and dessert station, among other things. There is a good sized seating area too. I also appreciated that the employees seem to be having some fun when it's not too busy. read more

Relatively speaking of course, the prices were in line but so many great offerings for salad, hot entrees, desserts, and really tasty coffees. Quality food for an airport. Better than a lot of restaurants inside of places. It's a buffet where you pay by the item. It gets expensive. But where else can you serve yourself enough of a serving for the price? There's something from almost every cuisine... and it's all very okay. It's good! It was refreshingly good. Provender: you'll find a buffet of mediocre airport food, but hey . . . it's reasonably priced and there's a decent amount of seating. Prices: an egg sandwich and a coke will run you about $15 USD (as of Nov. 2018). The sandwich was around $10, and $5 for the coke. I came to Marché to grab some lunch before my flight out to Chicago. First, I took a quick look around the premises and saw a bunch of food options for eat-in: fresh juices, soups, salad bar, sandwiches, noodle soup cooked to order, cakes, coffees, and a variety of hot cooked foods. I settled on the grab-and-go stuff at the front of the restaurant, because I figured I didn't have enough time to sit down at eat. They had a pretty nice selection to choose from, and this is what I ended up with: - Turkey and watermelon salad: CHF 8.95 - Little Mövenpick ice cream: CHF 4.25 - 2.5 dl mixed berry fruit smoothie: CHF 6.95 - 5 dl bottle of mineral water: CHF 5.00 The total came out to CHF 25.15, which was kind of pricey if you consider what I got, but I justified it by saying that it was comparable to a standard meal in Zürich. They have a beautiful layout with fresh produce, just made meals, and baked goods that draw you in. There's lots to choose from. You can get traditonal food and even Asian noodle soup (rice vermicelli in a chicken broth). Prices are expensive but a better alternative to the $15+ Burger King meals next door. The food tasted ok. Staff didn't care much about foreigners, most understood English or spoke in broken English. At the checkout lane, I asked for water and I was given these flimsy coke paper cups. One napkin limit with guilt trips about conserving the enviroment. I liked that, but it was hard to use only one. Rösti were not at all greasy, a nice mix of textures between the tender potato and the crispy edges. And of course, I had to have a bottle of Apfelschorle to top it all off. Breakfast was quick, the restaurant itself has a convenient and appetizing layout of displayed foods, and the service was friendly. Really liked the Lindt shop in the airport (macarons!) and was able to purchase a wallet at one of the stores for a reasonable price! They have the official Swiss shop that sell the Swiss army knives and pocketknives which would make a really cool gift. My husband and I had both dinner and breakfast here. It seemed to be one of the more inexpensive eateries within the airport. The sandwiches were good but you had to pay extra for condiments. For dinner, we grabbed a couple beverages and a couple sandwiches. Everything was expensive. They had a grill where they made paninis and also a freshly squeezed juice with smoothies. I didn't spend too much time here, but I have to say they have a large selection of grab and go items, which makes it really handy as an airport location and for travelers that are on the go. As I was looking for a place to eat in the terminal, I thought this was a good place to get a sandwich because we were trying to speed our way though the airport to reach our gate on time. They have a variety of sandwiches to choose from in their sandwich area, and other options may have been better. The bread for the sandwich that I got was a little on the harder side, which made it difficult for me to eat, especially quickly, but could be more enjoyable for those who prefer it. Apart from the sandwich, we also tried the cheese pizza that they warmed up for us here, and I thought that was tasty and much better than my choice in sandwich! The people that work here are also very nice, and helped provided togo bags for me for my food because I wanted it togo. This location also had grab and go water bottles, which were also handy because we could just select what we want and pay for it instead of having to order it at the register. There are other places to try at this location that serve different types of food, and I would be willing to give it a try if I had more time next time! read more

Great market-style hall. Cafeteria type service, meaning you take what you want and they add up your total at the end. Be prepared for the total, this is Switzerland after all. I like this place. The food is good and fresh and it's never too busy. All the immigration police are seen here eating their breakfast, so that's saying something about its value relative to the other places you find upstairs. No view though. I keep coming back during my 7:30am connections for an omelette. read more
