Super aesthetic! The portion was huge and the presentation was even better. Everything in here is pink, even some of their drinks. Picture worthy place to come to. Would recommend!

Great ambiance. Super cute place. Service was quick and friendly. We stopped in for coffee only so I cant say anything regarding the food.

    Exotic Pancake

The food was terrible, dry and expensive. $3 for a tiny glass of water, $25 for a single terrible pancake with a Chanel logo out of powdered sugar?!?!? Absolute millennial trap, the menu literally said "perfect for boomerangs". I would not recomend to anyone, it was an absolute waste. Left hungry and upset.

First off the place is beautiful, a picturesque place for your instagram posts. The dishes are huge so my recommendation is to come hungry. The French toast served with brioche was lovely and picture perfect. The theme seemed to be pink as the wall to wall flowers. My bagel with a fried egg and cream cheese came with pink cream cheese. A surprise for sure. The bagel was not crunchy which was a bit of a disappointment. We also had the farmer's breakfast which was huge. This was quite unique in that it wasn't a skillet of hash brown sausage and eggs. It had a sauce of some kind that was unexpected. If you are looking for different this was a good choice

Solid 4-star insta-influenced breakfast. Vibes in this place are cute, from the rose wall to the pink napkins - your eyes are in for some fun. The plating of the entrees is also cute. Flavors are good, but not the key focus. That said, if you are eating pink goat cheese on sourdough, it's an experience amongst itself. They have a variety of options and it's very vegetarian friendly. The staff are also nice, just be prepared for those around you shooting Instagram pics :p. Overall, yes I would recommend for a cute place with good vibes and a decent breakfast.

This was definitely a brunch to splurge on but it was worth it! The original draw to this cafe is the floor to ceiling flower decor and the minimalistic feel. The food, drink, and service made it all worth coming in. The Turkish egg brunch option was served with black tea and an assortment of artesian breads. The brunch was delicious as was the matcha latte. I would recommend coming in whether you're alone or dining with a large group, they have room for all types!

Happy we strolled past this paradise of pink! The aroma drew us in; the menu and warm welcome made us stay. Hip music and cheery, elegant atmosphere-- the perfect place to savor excellent coffee and a gourmet breakfast. Varied menu has something for everyone. Thank you, Elena.

Excellent food and service. When in Zurich, you have to stop in for the atmosphere and the pink hot chocolate.

Excellent! My favorite restaurant so far on our trip. I would like to come again many times. The…read morerösti was particularly delicious and the tea was excellent, too! The interior of the restaurant is very beautiful and the server was very friendly.

Yelp Review 2026 #64:…read more I'm not vegetarian and definitely not vegan. But I will dabble with the veg from time to time. Hiltl is popular for being the world's oldest vegetarian restaurant in the world. Here's information I will share that I wish was available before planning to come here. You must make a reservation for lunch/ dinner because that's when they're busy. Breakfast is for walk-ins and they don't do reservations. Hop on their website and be sure you're on the right location because they have several within a 2-mile radius...some on the same street. I went here to try their breakfast buffet. I wasn't sure how busy they got for breakfast so, I got here at 6:30am because I got the wrong information online! They open at 7am. Different locations have different hours. Check their website for actual hours and don't trust review site information because it's wrong! They're not busy for breakfast at all. There's 2 ways to do their buffet. You can pay a fixed price and fill your plate multiple times or go and fill your plate once and pay based on the weight of your food - you get free bread. I did the pay-by-weight option. I have a whole day of eating planned so, I wasn't about to fill up for breakfast. When they opened at 7am, they were still putting the food out one by one. By 7:20, all the food was out which was fine. I was in no rush. The spread includes fresh fruits, cheeses, butter, margarine, cheesecake, chocolate mousse, mango mousse, mango chia pudding, banana chocolate brownie crumble, a pear dessert (with cream, vanilla and orange), rosti, scrambled eggs, potato salad, tomato and mozzarella salad, beets, chickpeas, olives, couscous, corn salad, olives, asparagus, green peas, feta cheese, hardboiled eggs, curry salad, dolmades, broccoli and edamame, artichoke salad, bulgur salad, tabbouleh, orecchiette tofu salad, Thai salad, hummus, guacamole, muhammara, etc. They have 6 types of bread. Slice a piece and toast it yourself. Vegan and vegetarian food tend to taste strongly of coconut/ coconut milk and I don't like that. My favorites from the buffet include chocolate mousse, mango mousse, banana chocolate brownie crumble, dolmades, asparagus, orecchiette tofu salad, and Thai salad. I got a mango lassi to drink which I didn't like. It had curry powder. Service was pleasant. The restaurant was clean.

Very cute cafe in the middle of Zurich. It is a great place for coffee or breakfast. We went there…read moreon a Saturday morning and it got busy very quickly. The tables are small and it may not be easy to have all your food on one of them. We had eggs (over easy) and an omelet with Latte and hot chocolate. The food was great and came out at a good pace. It was a great experience.

Yelp Review 2026 #47:…read more Cafe & Conditorei 1842 is "Zürich's oldest cafe". This place is a conditorei (has a sit down area to enjoy pastries and sweet baked treats) and not a confiserie (take away truffles and candies). They claim to have the best hot chocolate and I would have to disagree. They do have good desserts to pair with their hot chocolate. The building its in has been around since 1824. The bakery opened in 1874 but the cafe didn't actually open until March 2019 so, the name is misleading. They have indoor seating and also patio seating in front or in the back. They have smoothies, milkshakes, matcha, cold brew options, sparkling wine options, ice cream, patisserie items, and brunch food. You have 6 options for their hot (or cold) non-alcoholic chocolate: classic, with marshmallows, with whipped cream, with chili flakes, with a shot of fresh ginger, with a shot of espresso; or 4 alcoholic hot (or cold) chocolate options: rum, amaretto, Bailey's or Grand Marnier. Passion Fruit Panna Cotta: Nice balance of bitter dark chocolate and tart Passionfruit. The panna cotta was creamy and soft. Dark chocolate holding everything together. I love Passionfruit and chocolate combo. 4.5/5 Chocolate Mousse: You can't go wrong with anything chocolate in Switzerland. This has white chocolate, milk chocolate and dark chocolate, and cocoa nibs at the bottom. Great creamy texture. Pillowy like marshmallow. 4/5 The Classic Hot Chocolate with Whipped Cream: Underwhelming. I've had better hot chocolate somewhere else in Zürich. It's a step up from Swiss Miss. 2.5/5 The Classic Cold Chocolate with Whipped Cream: The same as what was mentioned above but the cold version which is lukewarm. 2.5/5 Service was good though.

It's a fairly trendy spot, and it was packed on Friday night. Still the service was timely, the food was great, and the atmosphere lively. Wow good lord this food is fantastic…read more My friend Sahil and I came here on a weekday and were seated at the bar without a wait. We were lucky- the place was packed! It was really fun sitting at the bar- you could watch all the cooks do their thing and we were highly entertained. Sahil ordered the Sabich and I order a hummus trio with a side of falafel. It was more than enough food. The Sabich looked beautiful and whatever magic they did to the aubergine was fantaaaaastic. They were crunchy and wonderful. The falafel were also beautifully done and came with a side of wonderful sauce that I can't remember the name of now. I was also really impressed with the hummus trio. All three were very different and large portions. I kept picking a new favourite, it was hard to choose. We got beet, mango, and I think the regular. Fantastic flavours, really great waitstaff, and a freaking amazing experience overall. I'll be back!
