I do wish the esthetician had talked me through the steps of the facial a bit more and asked about any problem areas or skin concerns beforehand. Also, after the mask was applied, the esthetician left the room without letting me know she was done or when she would be coming back, so I ended up laying there for over 15 minutes unsure of what was happening. You can tell that she has been doing this for a while. The spa was very relaxing and clean, with tranquil music playing throughout. Joey started by giving me a gentle face wash to get my makeup off, then proceeded with extraction, peel and infusion, followed by serum and a thick cooling mask. In between, she also gave me a nice head massage and a shoulder massage, incorporating some acupressure. The service was very different from hydrafacials I have received elsewhere. They responded quickly and I was able to obtain a consultation and the person I spoke to was able to answer all my questions. The bad? I later continued my email correspondence and requested to schedule an appointment for my procedure. No response. Nada. Zilch. Silence. Later, I found out the reason why I got no response was because the person I had been corresponding with was no longer there. Fair enough, but at least put some forward on the email or have someone cover it. From my perspective, my appointment request just went unanswered. In my mind, I figure if this is how they act before they get my money, imagine how they would react once they actually have it.
