I spoke with a lovely woman who was incredibly kind and helpful. She asked what I had in mind, and I told her I was looking for something elegant with white and purple flowers in a short vase. They absolutely overdelivered. The arrangement was beautiful, tasteful, and perfect for the occasion - and most importantly, the recipient was truly touched. Thank you for making this happen so quickly and for helping bring a little light during such a dark time. I can't thank you enough.

Mama's Flowers went above-and-beyond to tailor the arrangement for my special request. The arrangement was delivered as-expected on-time and was absolutely gorgeous, the flowers looked as if they had just been picked!! It was one of the most creative, interesting, and stunning arrangements I've ever seen at a reasonable price point from a florist. I am confident my boyfriend's parents will enjoy the arrangement for the rest of their vacation. I highly recommend Mama Flowers!!!

Used Mama Flowers for my wedding in April 2011. This was a destination wedding and planning from…read moreNew York was very painful. In my delusional state, I did not physically do down to Key West until the day BEFORE the wedding. This was slightly psychotic, but to my surprise, Mama Flowers took care of me as a walk in and were able to fix all my crazy "but I want it this way" requests. They were great communicating over email for the months before hand, but were even better the day before when I actually showed up there unannounced in person. Dayna and JD were awesome! I barged in with orange ribbon and starfish from Shell World and they told me not to worry and that everything will be arranged by tomorrow, and it was! Flowers for my hair were magically delivered to the spa, flowers for the cake appeared as scheduled at the baker, invisible men showed up on the beach and set up the floral canopy along with all the other accents and then somehow moved it all to the reception area (I actually did not see these people, who they were and where they came from, I don't know, but they got the job done!) The flowers themselves were gorgeous! This was the biggest surprise, because planning from afar you don't actually get to see things in person till you get there. The finished products were so beautiful and fragrant, I couldn't have asked for more. These are professional people, who know what they're doing and who work well with all other businesses in town. Yes, as mentioned in a prior review, by a boy, they are pricy, but not nearly as much as others in town. And overall wedding flowers are ridiculously expensive, so I can't say their prices were unreasonable. I would say, if you are planning a destination wedding and are not able to be there in person to plan everything out, then go with Mama Flowers. They'll take care of you, even in your psycho bridezilla state. If I figure out how to post pictures, then I'll put up some of the pics my guests took. Thank you Mama Flowers!

They have a good selection, and you can order almost anything you need to be shipped to the store and then pick it up. Prices are competitive without that "extra cost" that seems to get added by a lot of businesses because we are so far from the mainland. (I get it, transport here is expensive!). When I place orders they call me to tell me they are ready so I can come pick them up. The two downsides are: 1) the app. If you do curbside pick up with the app, no one brings it out to you. You have to go in, wait in line at customer service, and pick it up yourself. And 2) usually when you go into a home depot the people who work there know a lot about the tools and supplies and how to use them. It's pretty clear that some employees here don't do any of their own home improvements. However, the employees will go out of their way to help you and are super friendly. So that's a huge plus. Just know that you have to come already knowing every single little thing you'll need for your job, including sizes and types, since you won't be able to just ask the staff what else is needed to change the faucet in your sink.

I sent them some inspiration photos and then they put together a truly comprehensive estimate for me. We made little tweaks to bring down the cost on some of the candle options, and that was really all I had to review! Of course it's cheaper to get someone just to do ad-hoc arrangements for you and then DIY everything else, but I am SO GLAD I wasn't responsible for setting that up and collecting it all at the end of the evening. It would've made my wedding day 1,000 times more stressful. Milan Event handled transporting our flowers everywhere they needed to go during the day and then picked up the decor after the reception, and it was worth every penny. The arrangements themselves were GORGEOUS and included a more expensive variety of flower than I had anticipated, which was a nice surprise and rare for the wedding industry. When the Milan Event folks showed up the day-of to my bridal suite with the flowers, they were even more beautiful than had I imagined. I also took one of the roses home to keep at my house to remember our big day, and it stayed beautiful in water for like two weeks! Thank you, Milan Event!
