Hi Dr. Tu. This is bitter sweet but I wanted to let you know about your employee who was the…read morereceptionist on the phone on December 3rd. She was very unprofessional and she laughed at us with her coworker and didn't try to hide it and then hung up on us. Maria and I both left a voicemail. Hopefully she didn't erase it. She also gave us a name but I'm almost positive it was a fake one. She wanted me to come, and pay for a visit because I told her that they made a mistake last time and only gave me a 90 day prescription when you ALWAYS give me a one year. She wanted me to come down and pay for another visit (of almost $100) and wouldn't understand that it was a mistake. She even had the gall to say that doctors have a right to do it. So I said in the 10 years he never did it and it was a mistake but she insisted I come to the office, wait, and pay. She kept doubling down to come to the office and said I could not talk to you but she would leave you a message. I didn't believe she would hence the reason I'm writing this review. So I went online and got a prescription and my meds for half the price of going to your office and spending half a day there. I went there because of you but your employee and the girl that worked with her that day on December 3rd left a bad taste in my mouth. If you like, you can call me and I will take this review down. Please talk to your employees because they are costing you business with their attitude and they seem to not care that they are hurting your business. You deserve better human beings working there that have compassion for your patients. Not someone who is just there for a paycheck and wants to make life miserable for other people. Unfortunately the other people are your patients.

Only after consulting other doctors did we realize how inappropriate the situation was. Watching a loved one deal with the aftermath has been extremely difficult and could have been avoided with proper care and oversight. Patients trust doctors to act responsibly and communicate honestly. That did not happen here. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for care.

Adequate medical care was received until my 90 y.o. father became bed ridden. Dr. Wu was on vacation, so I asked the office manager for information regarding IHSS and retirement homes. The manager and staff are completely ignorant, uninformed, and rude. They took the IHSS application that I brought and promised to forward it to the doctor. 2 weeks later after the dr. returned, there was no update on the IHSS form (only takes a few minutes to fill out my father's medical status). I called Dr. Wu's emergency phone number several times and he did not call back until I messaged possible medical board disciplinary action. He chuckled and said he'll sign the death certificate. My father passed away the next day. He was already under hospice care that I initiated so we didn't have to deal with Dr. Wu anymore. My mother was switched to another medical office immediately. THERE ARE MANY BETTER MEDICAL OFFICES IN THIS AREA. Don't choose Dr. Wu's office if you value your family's health and lives.

What kind of doctor turns away sick patients at a time when they need care the most? I had to go to urgent care instead, where I quickly received antibiotics that helped me get better Her physical checkups are also extremely superficial and provide little to no value in terms of understanding my overall health. This lack of care and thoroughness makes her one of the laziest doctors ive ever been to. I would NOT recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable primary care physician.

At one point during her illness, she wanted to get cough drops and did not know where to go since her local CVS was out of cough drops. She reached out to this clinic, asking for cough drops and later receives a notification from CVS that her prescription for omeprazole 40 mg was ready for pick-up. My mother-in-law has never had heartburn, GERD, or any stomach-related issue. She later texts my wife, who is a pharmacist, asking what omeprazole is for. My wife, who actively works in multiple primary care clinics, tells her what omeprazole is mainly indicated for and then asks my mother-in-law what the doctor told it was for. My mother-in-law responds that she was not contacted by anybody on what this medication is for. All in all, this physician prescribed her a medication with absolutely no indication. She did not even bother having a nurse or a team member check in on my mother-in-law to ask about her COVID symptoms. Come on, an antitussive or an expectorant would have sufficed. This was absolutely garbage patient-center care. This should never have happened. I ended up ordering cough drops through instacart. I don't care if this physician is accomplished or what-not. You can still go to the best schools and still provide poor medical care. With my mother-in-law at her age with her risk factors, I definitely do not trust this doctor. Run, don't walk, to another doctor.

I explained that our water heater had leaked and caused mold, and shared photos as evidence. The water heater is right next to the fridge, which could create contamination issues. She repeatedly cut me off and said, "Why are you showing me this? I'm not a plumber." She was dismissive and hostile, refusing to consider our home situation in the evaluation. What bothered me most: * Poor communication and disrespectful attitude. * Ignoring important information about environmental health risks. * Lack of empathy or explanation for why the info might be relevant. If your child's health could be affected by home conditions, be prepared to insist that the doctor listens and documents your concerns. We have been several urgent cares before and it's usually very packed and especially busy during the weekend. The wait time can be a few hours just to see a doctor. This urgent care is located right next to the Fwy. So it's very easy to find and plenty of parking spaces. I was amazed how empty and there was only 1 person in front of us. It took only 5 mins to check in after filling out all the medical paperwork. In less than 5-10 mins, a nurse already called us in to take my dad's health readings and immediately had a heart machine to monitor his heartbeat. In about 5-10 mins the doctor came in to check on my dad. Afterwards, it just took a little longer to wait for misc paperwork. I was amazed in less than 45 mins, we were in and out!!!! The facility was cleaned. They even have a security guard on site for our safety. The staff could also speak Chinese and overall they were professional and friendly! I highly recommend this urgent care vs going to an overcrowded facility which will take a few hours of wait and the more wait seeing the doctors and taking care of other misc items before you can actually leave!

He is exceptionally knowledgeable, dissecting questions at different angles for his students/residents. He is also highly compassionate toward his patients. Whenever patients hesitate to take an annual scan out of fear, he would always encourage them to overcome their fear and inform them of the significance of regular screening. After my shadowing experience at SHM, I recommended Dr. Chang to my mom. As a first-gen immigrant, my mom has always been very anxious about seeing doctors in the US. But after her visit, she said Dr. Chang was very patient and informative. He insisted that my mom do a mammogram despite having done one back in China 6 months ago. The most recent mammogram reveals that there are suspicious masses! But thankfully, we were able to bring the situation under control due to early discovery. As a pre-med student, the shadowing experience was educational and encouraging. He is a fun and approachable guy and thoroughly answered all my questions about med school and application. As a family member to his patient, we are thankful for his professionalism and compassionate communication. I highly recommend Dr. Chang!

They keep saying: "oh, we're busy right now, we'll calling u back." It never happens. All lies. Zero calls back. Worst one, the NP was yelled and didn't even want to listen to the complain, and hung up. Waow! What a service! Super epic. They called, inform about "something" that wasn't a clear instruction, and wanted us to check with a neuro specialist. How to communicate with the next doctor, if the instruction I received wasn't clear? If u inform something to someone, and someone communicate it to someone else, and it became unclear what do you want, cannot give response back, get the hell out pls. Do it yourself. Don't care what u want anymore. When I asked, "nicely"... their response was: oh, we're VERY busy right now, we WILL call you back. PRETT!! "Liar!" And the NP was saying: "don't u understand that we're VERY BUSY!!" "You need to listen to me!" (When she's the one NOT listening!) (After I called 3x and waited for them to call back like almost 8 hours???) Don't u think I AM NOT BUSY MA'AM? I was "too busy" waiting for your response, just to ask, what do u want from the neuro? From the kidney doctor? What the hell u want? Explain it nicely, not so complicated ma'am "busy-in-the-world." I'm sure the doctor is a nice person, but NOT the ma'am NP! She's a fucking bullshit!!! Not a profesional at all. They tend to hanging up their phone OR just blocked u into a busy line, so when u called them, NOONE (like literally noone) will pickup the phone OR listen to your voicemails. Their phone is broken, just like their heart is broken. Probably, just come to their busy office, and see how "busy" they are blocking people's phones call to make a very QUIET room. Wow!! Applause to their profesionalism. That's how they got their profesional degree. Just blocking people's phone, and do prescription till their patient's kidney is broken.
