Admin was pretty bad, and I think this place is better for only Chinese-speaking patients. A nonrefundable $30 is charged for making an appointment, with an additional $70 after seeing the doctor. First, we paid cash since we didn't have time to transfer the insurance yet. But after we transferred the insurance, Vivian, the office manager, aggressively told us to go to the lab connected to the office for a discount since she thought we continued to pay cash. When we insisted to go to our lab, which was assigned by our insurance plan, she rudely told us to go back to our previous doctor. After the insurance was cleared, we had a hard time getting the doctor's lab order through email or text. We kept telling them we could not open it from our phone since the app they use is only good for iPhone and we have Samsung. Eventually, a girl from the front desk printed it out for us to pick it up. After a week (just after we picked up the blood test order), the same girl called me and asked me to pick up another one since the doctor forgot to checkmark "a few more things." She asked me if I had a pen so I could add to the doctor's original form myself, but isn't it by law that only the doctor could do that? Also, we got scared by just looking at the order form since other requests were written down to test for HIV, CMP, LIPIDs, CBC, TSH, VIT D, HBs, Ag, ACV, I FOBT... in addition to 6 checkmarks on the form from the doctor. There would be lots of blood withdrawn to fulfill this order! In the end, the same girl from the office (she is the nicest one who was willing to talk to us--the others were rude since we cannot speak Chinese) told us those additional blood tests we saw were added by default. But why were they handwritten there even though the form already had everything checked? The doctor only needs to checkmark which blood test he wants to order instead of writing each one down, which may confuse the patients and the lab? In the end, we could not go along with the blood test nor come back since there is no trust left--only doubts for professionalism and accountability! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - As a response to the owner/doctor: 1. The misconduct and communication was on their staff--We already transferred the insurance, but Vivian, the office manager, did not know that. The girls who answered our calls kept pushing us away since they couldn't speak English well. Eventually, there was only one girl who nicely returned my calls and explained their situation. We never requested a native speaker. 3. The owner/doctor was lying in his reply. Doctors usually order blood tests--we don't know what to request. After we saw the doctor the first time and we had already picked up the blood test order a week afterward, the front desk called us to come back to pick up a second one. We did not want to come, so they said the doctor wanted to revise the blood test form and even asked me to "use a pen to add on the original form" over the phone. Is that even legal? Does the doctor allow patients to checkmark blood tests for him in his absence? 4. What kind of doctor's office couldn't send a blood test order by email, fax, or phone (since they use an app for iPhone only)? They asked us to drop by the office twice to pick up the blood test orders just because the doctor forgot or changed his mind. I feel sorry for the patients who come here because they can speak only Chinese--But shouldn't we all be careful and cautious for our health and well-being?!

Often, I have to be squeezed in or make an appointment last minute and they try their best to accommodate since I work 12 hour shifts and it is hard to make an office visit except on my days off. I am excited for them to move to another newer building as the building they are currently in has bad parking and is not renovated so it will be great to see them when they move to the brand new office! The office staff is good about calling me back as well regarding insurance related referrals or letting me know a follow up result, which I am very thankful for as some other offices can forget about their patients in their hectic schedules. They do very well with following up! Which is important because I imagine if you have abnormal tests or results you would want to them to make that a priority so you could get appropriate care or follow up as needed. I do my annual physicals with the doctors and usually only come for something like evaluation if I have a horrible lingering cough that has been around for 1-2 weeks. The doctors will prescribe antibiotics if it is appropriate. My husband usually visits for the same reasons. The wait time could be improved as my appointment times sometimes stretch out to 30-1 hour waits. I understand some other patients may have many questions and both doctors are nice enough to answer them thoroughly. I often cannot complain about the wait time as they have squeezed me in several times when I desperately needed to see the Dr! Overall great doctors! :)

Only after consulting other doctors did we realize how inappropriate the situation was. Watching a loved one deal with the aftermath has been extremely difficult and could have been avoided with proper care and oversight. Patients trust doctors to act responsibly and communicate honestly. That did not happen here. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for care.

We have been several urgent cares before and it's usually very packed and especially busy during the weekend. The wait time can be a few hours just to see a doctor. It took only 5 mins to check in after filling out all the medical paperwork. In less than 5-10 mins, a nurse already called us in to take my dad's health readings and immediately had a heart machine to monitor his heartbeat. In about 5-10 mins the doctor came in to check on my dad. Afterwards, it just took a little longer to wait for misc paperwork. I was amazed in less than 45 mins, we were in and out!!!! The facility was cleaned. They even have a security guard on site for our safety. The staff could also speak Chinese and overall they were professional and friendly! An all-around family doctor, she is knowledgeable in many fields of health, whether it be allergies, skin issues, heart problems, etc. I've never felt that she was trying to rush me or get me out the door. She listens to what I have to say and gives me her feedback and thoughts from her years of experience. She also has good referrals to other doctors should you have more specific concerns. I believe there was some remodeling done between my last and most current visit, so the clinic is even more clean and welcoming. I noticed this place now uses a computerized patient file system, which I noticed at another doctor's place whom I visited a few months back. This is great because your information is now in a convenient system that Dr. Ding or her staff can access, edit, and update at any time. The staff here is very courteous and warm, and answer any questions you have. Dr. Ding is a family doctor/general doctor I recommend for any health concerns.
