My new favorite florists! We hosted a virtual floral arrangement class for our team and Virginia was incredible to work with. Super quick to respond and was able to accommodate international teammates and even pet-friendly blooms . She was so thoughtful making sure that all blooms arrived safely and on time and followed up (the extra touch is so great, and as a planner, super appreciated)! The class was so much fun and therapeutic. Virginia did an amazing job hosting and engaging everyone in the class through the event- time flew by! Can't wait to host more events together- my favorite virtual event and vendor!
Absolutely the best experience working with Marbled Mint for our wedding. We didn't have any specific floral requests other than the color theme, so we decided to let them take the reins and work their magic and choose whichever florals were in season. We wanted something beautiful and memorable, but we didn't want to break the bank. Becky + her team understood this completely and worked closely with us to create a stunning floral display on our arch and dinner tables. If you're looking for a team of talented professionals who will go above and beyond to make your wedding day look amazing, look no further. They are absolute gems, and I'm stoked that we had the opportunity to work with them. PS - I also worked with them on a corporate event, specifically with Virginia, and that experience was also seamless and easy! The team loved it.
We worked with Marbled Mint, specifically with Becky, for our mid-June Indian wedding reception at the beautiful redwoods venue of Saratoga Springs in Saratoga, CA. We had a vision of combining traditional marigold strands with the pastel-to-bright floral arrangements that MM typically does. It was pretty easy to describe this vision to Becky and let her expertise take over. We ended up getting one wooden arch decorated with marigold strands and a corner arrangement, a few larger table arrangements, and 100+ bud vases as tablescape decor that also served as an additional take-home for guests. Since marigolds aren't always available by mid June (early in their season), we had a backup plan with carnation strands that we would have been happy with as well. Luckily, we got marigolds! Becky was professional and responsive, and we're glad we trusted her expertise. The team was able to set up in the required amount of time (2 hours to unload and set up) and execute our vision in a way we loved. They're a preferred vendor at Saratoga Springs, and their familiarity with the venue made things super easy for us (we didn't have a planner and were communicating with all vendors directly). Cost-wise, they have a higher minimum spend than some other vendors, but it made sense for our guest count and their pricing was reasonable. Especially since we got to keep all the bud vases to send home with guests. In summary, MM was easy to work with and we'd definitely recommend them! Also worth noting: while their IG is accurate/representative of their style, it doesn't fully capture the range of what they might be able to do -- definitely talk to them in detail about your specific vision and get their recommendations on how to best make it happen!
We found Marbled Mint on Yelp, so it's only fitting that we return here and offer a review of Becky and Virginia's services for our wedding celebration this month. From the get-go Becky asked all the right questions about our floral needs and was very quick to provide a quote and tailor to our budget and theme. She was also very open and collaborative during the styling stage - I didn't know what I wanted and after looking at some photos online, she married that inspiration with her own expertise to demo an arrangement for us. We even had an abnormal request to include forest tree saplings and they were supportive throughout the procurement and then potting process. I really admired Becky's dedication to providing the best experience for us through prompt follow-up (even during her personal vacation time!) and kept in close contact in lead up to the wedding. I highly recommend working with Becky and Virginia for weddings - you'd be supporting two badass women of color in the city with deep passion for what they do.
Awesome flower arrangement for my mini shrine. Glad the timing worked out as we were looking for some arrangements to go pray with. Florals from Marbled Mint :) much appreciated.
Do yourself a favor and hire marbled mint! Becky, Virginia, and her team felt like family! Everyone was so flexible and patient with us and made our wedding vision come true- but even better! I was running around everywhere trying to DIY but that is a mistake. Becky and her crew saved me and took care of all the candle set up, "better together" neon set up with arch florals, and pretty much figuring how to decorate the venue with little instructions. I knew I could trust them! Everyone complimented the romantic, sweet florals that were decorated throughout the church and reception. So many guests told me how "dreamy" everything was and I cannot thank them enough. They even shared some behind the scenes photos that I (the bride) do not get to see so kudos to them!!!
Just did a flower arrangement workshop with Virginia that my apartment management organized for us. Such a fun, quality event! We got the $48-ish kit which includes generous amount of BEAUTIFUL, freshly cut flowers, a vase, scissors, floral tape, and chicken wire. I'm blown away by the high quality of the flowers. Virginia walked us step by step through the do's and don'ts of flower arranging. I still did a lot of the don'ts haha , but I'm happy with the way my arrangement turned out .
Marbled Mint is my family's go to florist in the bay area. Their service is absolutely pristine. Virginia, Becky and the staffs are helpful and friendly. They have wide selection of flowers. Just use your imagination and they will do their best to make it happen. I have also attended weddings and other events that used their service. They definitely brightened the events with elegance and class. I know they also does workshops and team building events. I definitely highly recommend Marbled Mint for personal and corporate events.
Becky was very sweet and lovely to work with, starting from the first call that we had, to our mock centerpiece meeting, final meeting and towards our wedding day. Her personality was very warm and friendly and seems like you are talking to a friend! She came prepared on our first meeting with price quotes for each floral item I wanted. She even gave me fresh floral arrangements on our mock centerpiece meeting! She was also quite flexible and understanding when I had to revamp our order due to unforeseen circumstances. I was mesmerized and blown away by how beautiful everything looks on the wedding day! My vision was executed exactly how I wanted, and probably even exceeded my expectations. The asymmetrical floral arch in front of our ceremony arbor was ethereal and a show stopper! The grounded flowers (not pictured below) and cake flowers matched the pinterest photos I shared. The greenery and candles for our centerpiece really hit the mark, and looked perfect with our table numbers! I'm truly grateful that I was able to find Marbled Mint - one of the best decisions I made in this wedding planing process. :)
Did a Floral Arrangement Workshop with Marbled Minted and had a lot of fun! My friend and I found one of their workshops on Eventbrite and paid $53 a person for the 1.5hr workshop. It was located in a coffee shop in the Mission and each person received a $5 credit for coffee and treats there. The class of 12 took up the entire back patio of the coffee shop, which was the perfect lovely space with tons of room and natural lighting. We started a bit late because some people came to the class late, but we still ended on time. My friend and I loved the class, learned a lot, and took home our dining centerpieces, which has a little white vase container that could be reused. Highly recommend this short, creative workshop for any friends or work teams who want to have some fun and make something beautiful to take home!
Virginia and Becky are such an amazing team! They did all the florals for my wedding day back in June of 2018. From the beginning to the end, they took the time to meet and help me plan for the big day. I didn't want to spend a crazy amount on flowers. They were so thoughtful and made great suggestions to help me stay within my budget. The florals on the day of were exactly what I imagined! It was beautiful, soft, minimal, and romantic. They went above and beyond to make sure they delivered exactly what they had planned. I loved everything so much!
I think their 5 star rating speaks for itself. Becky and Virginia are #1. When I was looking for a florist for my wedding, I scoured the internet and stumbled across Marbled Mint on Craigslist (of all places), Across the board, pricing was all pretty similar, but what really made the difference was my first call with Marbled Mint. They were totally comfortable with the fact that I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted the flowers to look like, flexible as things changed over time, and incredibly accommodating for last minute changes. They really took the time to listen and get a feel for what my husband and I wanted for the wedding, and it turned out so beautifully! I LOVEEEEED and adored all the boards and signs Marbled Mint created for our wedding. Virginia was able to customize the signs/boards to any size I want. We went through a few rounds picking out the fonts and they turned out perfect! Honestly, all the boards were the cherry on top to our wedding. It tied into our rustic theme perfectly. The boards were made with great wood quality (so sturdy!) and finished off with the perfect paint and stain colors! Marbled Mint definitely took care of all our wedding signage needs and exceeded our expectations. Will definitely use them again for future events!
I took the Kenzan Floral Arrangement class at the Hayes Mansion on a Friday night, which is how I was introduced to Marbled Mint. The owners are very nice and I got a crash course in Ikebana inspired arrangements. We each made our own and took them home. They do these classes all over the bay area it seems but their business is in their services. They provide flowers and do events like galas, corporate, weddings and more. I am sharing a photo of what I created at the 1 hr class. read more
I thought I wrote a review for Marbled Mint,, but it looks like I haven't! I hired Marbled Mint for my wedding and they were fantastic. From planning to execution, they were great to work with and our wedding plants/flowers were beautiful. Present them with a Pinterest board, or even just a few images and watch your ideas come to life. They will work with your budget, and also have lots of vendors they can recommend for your other wedding needs. I'd absolutely recommend them for parties, corporate team building events, florals to be sent to loved ones, you name it. Can't recommend them enough. read more

I organized a wreath making team building activity for our large group (tech company) and everyone enjoyed it so much! This is one of the best crafty workshops I've attended and organized. I would love to do this workshop again. Highly recommend it and any of the workshops from Marbled Mint. They're outstanding to work with, the materials are excellent quality and all packaged well, and you won't be disappointed. Well worth it. Virginia is awesome! read more

I attended a virtual team event hosted by Marble Mint and it was so fun and relaxing! Virginia guided us through crafting our own succulent terrariums. I wasn't the organizer for my team, so I don't have the inside scoop on coordinating -- but shipping the kits to our homes was very quick, they were sent express and we all got our kits in no time. I appreciated that everything was packed as sustainably as possible (recycled paper for padding, etc) and all items arrived intact. I was particularly impressed with their technical setup -- they used one camera for what you'd think of as a "normal" front view of the table and host, and they also joined with a second camera that was a close-up view of the work bench so we could see details more closely. Super useful. No lag, host was all set up for the call before anyone joined; it was very professional! The terrarium building activity itself is really so relaxing, fun, and allows you to be creative. Virginia is very friendly, informative, and engaging, a real pleasure to spend an hour with. I highly recommend this as a group event for anyone in the corporate or tech world, it's good to get your hands moving without a keyboard underneath. Get your fingers in the soil and build a mini succulent world :) An unreserved 5 stars -- would do again anytime! read more

Becky and the Marbled Mint team designed the florals for our wedding and did such an amazing job. We wanted the florals to add elegance, light, and life to our special day, but not overwhelm, and they managed to do just that. If I could give these ladies more than 5 stars, I would! I found Marbled Mint through a family member, and I couldn't have asked for a better vendor to work with. I don't know much about flowers, but Becky and Virginia really helped walk through my vision, talk through multiple options, and made me feel comfortable. I felt so at ease after speaking with them, that I sort of just left it to them to handle it and didn't worry too much about it! For the day of the wedding, Becky and Virginia went above and beyond with the entire decor setup, and pretty much EVERYTHING looked amazing: the centerpieces, the gazebo arrangement, welcome area, cake table, dessert table, etc. The personal pieces for myself, my husband, and our wedding party were also gorgeous and exactly what I didn't even know I wanted (if that makes sense!). I was blown away by how beautiful everything looked and how the floral pieces really tied everything together. As someone who obsessed over the look-and-feel of the wedding, I feel like they truly helped make it everything I envisioned. read more

Vicky and Becky with Marbled Mint are two of the sweetest, most communicative and amazing business women to work with! I had trust in them from the very beginning and saw that they created such beautiful florals, so we decided to have them create florals for our wedding! The entire process was easy, we spoke via telephone multiple times, emailed back and forth and met in person as well. They made the planning of a wedding less stressful by being so incredibly flexible, by sharing their professional opinions and staying within my budget! Definitely go with Virginia and Becky and you won't be disappointed! read more

I am so glad that marbled mint came into my life. We hired them to do our florals for our wedding. I am a wedding planner so I've worked with many different florists but I chose marked mint because they don't just want my money... they actually want to be friends and help relieve the stress from everything wedding. It's like when we were choosing photographers, we wanted to choose people who do good work, but if they're going to be with us all day long, we want to get along with them and enjoy having them shoot our wedding rather than just them doing their job and then leaving. Our wedding day past by so quick, I don't even remember taking a look at my own bouquet until the day after! But I did notice the guys' boutonnière and it was gorgeous! It fit our personality perfectly. Not too girly, not too small, nor too many ribbons hanging off. Omg. AND!! Virginia was asking me about my cake topper and if I wanted any flowers around it. I didn't have a cake topper so I told her just some random flowers on it should be ok. But then she surprised me with the perfect cake topper!!! She took the image off our invitations of our dogs and did a cutout!! See the picture I attached. I was so amazed at her creativity and was so glad that we had her on our side for our wedding. And then I noticed the other florist lady... she was working while pregnant! Running around the venue setting things up, and carrying boxes! And one last thing... working with all these other florists, I've never seen anyone add a personalized decal on the vases that says "bride" and "bridesmaids". And with their logo on the other side of the vase. It was a cute touch. Thank you marbled mint for all your help! read more

I attended a terrarium workshop they hosted and it was really fun. To be honest, I am usually not interested in craft workshops like these but this one totally changed my mind. It was good vibes from beginning to end. At the end of the workshop you get to bring something you made yourself to impress people in real life or on the Internet. I want to attend another one so that I can make one for the office now. read more
