2.5-3 stars--- A few things (based on 2 separate visits)…read more On visit #1 The "milkshake" I was given was actually just a cup of flavored milk and had none of the expected thickness/creaminess to it which was pretty disappointing. On visit #2 We ordered 2 ice cream cups to try (one buzzed and one regular) After waiting 53 minutes for our ice cream (you read that correctly) I was less than impressed with what was presented. - at around the 40 min mark of waiting, a waitress came to our table to inform us that the coffee liqueur was actually unavailable, so we'd need to change which "buzz" we wanted in our ice cream... sure, fine. -when my non-buzzed ice cream was handed to me I noticed immediately it was missing the brownies I ordered with it. I was THEN told after a few MORE minutes of waiting that "whoops, we ran out of brownies hours ago and forgot to notify you at the time of your order. Would another topping work?" So a few stars for their attempts to rectify the situation and offer replacement options. Now, When it comes to the actual flavors of the icecreams I WILL say, our Buzzed caramel ice cream = a more creamy ice cream and we were actually pleased with the flavor. My non-buzzed seasonal "ube" flavor = pretty disappointing and the texture was less creamy and harder to describe. The minute it touched my tongue it liquified lol so maybe it needed to be frozen/blended longer in their ice cream machine? Either wayyyy not super impressed overall. If you come on a busy night, make sure you have LOTS of time to spare.

I loved that you could choose one of their rolled ice cream combinations, or build your own. We built our own, where you can pick a base flavor (we picked cream), a mix-in (we picked nutella) and two toppings (twix & marshmallows). It said you could do a different combo of mix-ins and toppings, so in the future, I'd probably asked for all the toppings as mix-ins... cuz then they get grounded up and mixed into the ice cream... which was better than half a twix bar just sitting on top of the ice cream. That said, the combo of the cream with the Nutella was DELICIOUS and I'd recommend that to any chocolate lovers. And another tip, if you are sharing the ice cream with another person who happens to have a cold, they will split your ice cream into two cups. Nice! I'd say one rolled ice cream is definitely enough to split with two people... unless you're very hungry!

Luckily, I came on a weekday evening and the line was just to edge of the parking lot/street so there was no confusion for me but the cars after me could've been in conflict. I got a stuffed snowball with the natural strawberry and honeycomb ice cream inside. Natural strawberry tasted great. The honeycomb really didn't have much honeycomb flavor or honeycomb pieces in it, but the flavor could've been hidden due to the sweetness from the snowball. I got a regular size and the portions are very large, I could barely finish it and I have a sweet-tooth and a big appetite. I probably would've been fine with a small size. It's drive thru only and I just pulled over in a vacant parking lot nearby to eat it since I didn't want it to melt. The service is very friendly, the workers reminded me of chick fil a workers. It was a nice sweet treat.

To be honest, it doesn't seem like a normal dessert cafe. After experiencing the world class desserts and staff. I was surprised to know all the desserts are made fresh daily. As to many places import them in. The signature gelato is the saffron flavor. Very tasty. They said it was their signature and first flavor they made. If you do not know, Ice cream is airier than gelato and has a higher fat content while gelato is softer and packed with flavor. Both contain a lot of sugar, but gelato is traditionally made with less fat. My understanding, ice cream is made with cream and gelato is made from milk. They just do not just offer wonderful gelato. They do Turkish delight, baklava, Macarons, and etc. all made fresh daily. I did not try them all, only had the Turkish delight, saffron gelato, hot jasmine tea, and the coffee Affogato. The coffee Affogato is great flavor but not overwhelming enough to put you off the taste of coffee. But you definitely taste the coffee flavor. More like a coffee with cream and sugar taste. I took pictures of the gelatos but decided not to because i did not take a picture of right away. It kinda melted. So I did not post them. The tea has a strong jasmine tea flavor and the Turkish delight is very soft and very sweet and chewy. I sampled the chocolate Affogato. If you are big into dark chocolate. I definitely recommend this. It is very delicious! Just too rich and delicious my palate. They have some wonderful seating outside and inside. They do offer free Wi-Fi and some board games if available. The seating area is comfortable and good spot to relax and unwind. Especially if you just want something sweet and quiet place to get away. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the area! If not, make a day trip out of it. I do not know if they have any other places in the Mobile area.
