Very good ice cream! However, they do not wash their tools very well. There are always other flavors mixed into my ice cream. The most recent one, I got butter pecan and no mix-ins or anything. And while I was eating it, I started tasting peanut butter and then saw peanut butter chunks. This is a major problem! There are many people who are allergic to peanut butter, me being one of them. Luckily mine isn't super severe, but someone else might not be so lucky! Unfortunately, the peanut butter didn't appear until I got to the bottom of the container -- making it even more dangerous for someone who has a more severe allergy. read more

In addition to multiple flavors of delicious ice cream to choose from, the toppings and cone choices are almost limitless. I love fruit and nuts in my cream and Marble Slab has all my favorites. I had vanilla ice cream (I know, I'm boring) with strawberries, bananas and walnuts mixed in and served in a waffle bowl. So good! The spatulation of the ice cream on the cold slab of marble makes it extra creamy and I shamefully admit I ate every bite! I gave this a three star because although the ice cream was good I didn't really enjoy the customer service. I wasn't greeted when I walked in and I just didnt really like the vibe. I also got two small shakes that came out to 12$ and I normally wouldn't complain about that if there was good customer. Maybe next time. I recently visited this location, and I ordered a cotton candy shake. However, when it was presented to me, it did not live up to my expectations. As soon as I received it, it was chunky and foaming at the top. After a few minutes, I figured out that the whipped cream was the culprit. The whipped cream tasted sour and expired. As a whole, the shake was a major disappointment. The worst part is that it tasted like coffee mate coffee creamer. This shake was vile, atrocious, inedible, nasty, and disgusting. 10/10 would not recommend!!! read more

The servers, specifically a young high school aged boy, scowled the entire time we were in the store. He made us feel uncomfortable and got our order wrong putting the wrong mix-in. When we pointed this out he continued scowling and tried digging the wrong mix-in out of the ice cream instead of just starting over. We said he could just leave it and add in the correct one too. The ice cream tasted delicious as we expected however it definitely put a damper on the outing with such unpleasant service. I expect better from Marble Slab Creamery. read more

Sorry marble slab, I have to update my review. I came in here with my husband last week and we had our service dog with us and were so rudely greeted with "we're not supposed to have dogs in here." Then the guy added....unless it's a service dog. And my husband replied yes. That SHOULD have been the end of the story but the guy replied back with a smartass comment saying "I've never seen a pitbull as a service dog." Can you say AWKWARD!? I mean I totally understand the comment but the way he said it made me feel so uncomfortable that he was being such a smart ass. Made me feel like, okay let's just leave and never come back. Yes, we should have put our dog's vest on but we just went in real quick to grab a scoop and leave, did not fathom that we were going to be treated in such a way because of our service dog. No one else was bothered by it, the other customers wanted to pet him. After my husband showed the guy the service dog certification, he apologized and got us our ice cream. I have always loved Marble Slab, so I think this is my first choice for ice cream places in Burleson. Great flavor and service. The location is a little hard to get to if you are coming from certain directions. This location in particular is very small, so if you go there on a hot summer afternoon be prepared to be crammed in with a bunch of kids.
