So yummy! My husband got the strawberry flavor in cookie sandwich form.... OMG. This truly, is in my opinion, the best strawberry ice cream you'll ever have. I got the lucky charmed pot of gold in a cookie sandwich, and it was good, but I'll be honest it didn't hold a candle to that strawberry flavor. The cookies were great just by themselves, had some flakey sea salt on top that really brought out the flavors and added a nice balance. Service was quick and friendly; and the inside is adorable! Excellent business to pick for the Elite Team Members to visit and experience a delicious cup or cone (waffle if desired)of ice cream from Morgan's Ice Cream. Their ice cream is fabulous with many different flavors and combinations . They also offer Gluten Free & Vegan options. When we entered the shop we ( Jackie and I ) were cheerfully greeted by a very sweet young lady with a big smile ! She wore no name tag and I apologize. I did not ask her name, my bad. My friend and I were enjoying our ice cream ! She knew the flavors and helped us make a selection. The business area was very clean and welcoming. I was delighted to discover that there was a location closer to my home! My daughter and I decided to go l to try the limited release Christmas flavors. When we entered 2 young ladies were behind the counter but neither greeted us. However, when we approached the counter to order, we noticed that a few flavors were sold out. We decided on the flight of ice creams so that we each could try 2 flavors. I chose gingerbread salted caramel and Wookies cookies for my flavors. The gingerbread salted caramel was my favorite but I didn't taste any salted caramel as the name states. The Wookies Cookies was just ok until I got to the bottom of the scoop and tasted the oatmeal cookies. Overall, the flavors chosen were just ok. I still recommend giving them a try as it is a locally owned ice cream shop. read more

I pass by Morgan's almost every day oof the week because it is so close to my house. We finally made it there on a Saturday afternoon. When we got there it wasn't busy so we were able to ask questions and get recommendations. They don't have a lot of flavors but they are pretty unique and they offer some flavors based on the season. So of course I had to try the Pumpkin Carmel Cheesecake. My ice cream was tasty and it had pieces of graham crackers in it. My daughter got chocolate and her boyfriend got cookies and cream, they also enjoyed their ice cream. My husband got a not so vanilla shake but unfortunately he thought it was just that...vanilla. Morgan's offers vegan and gluten free options so if you are looking for a healthier version or dairy free this might be the place for you. They also have a sitting area so you can have a seat and enjoy your ice cream and the location we went to they had a coloring page and crayons and they put your masterpiece on the wall. I've had Morgan's a few times. Best strawberry ice cream I've ever had, and eating strawberry ice cream is basically my job. The seasonal flavors were very good. All of the ice cream is well made here. But... It very aggressively expensive. This isn't a good place to take the ball team out after a win or bring 15 kids into. It's a more boutique/date night vibe and is priced as such. I guess just make sure you know what to expect. Only one person working. She was struggling with a big order and a line. Both times I've visited, they've clearly needed an extra hand. This is the spot if you want strawberry ice cream. Not so much for a quick and cheap cone. Staff was rude and incompetent, the place is filthy - I got sticky, melted, ice cream all over my arm when I sat down at one of the tables. It also smelled like gray water inside - gross - and the service was horrendously slow. It took about 25 minutes for them to get my simple order made. There is absolutely no excuse for this whatsoever! And when I asked about their monthly flavors, the girl had no idea what she was talking about. She kept saying - "hmmm...I'm not sure about that. Let me check." I don't want you to check - I want you to study the menu so that when people ask about it, you'll have a better answer than "...let me check." How do you work there and not know what the monthly flavors are?!?! The worst part is, I drove up from over an hour away because people talked about how good it was. To be honest, even if the customer service was top notch and the facility was spic-n-span, the ice cream just wasn't that great. I don't know if my bad experience contributed to that, or if the ice cream really just wasn't very good. At any rate, I will not be making the same mistake twice - once was all I needed. I do not recommend this place and will not be visiting again. Hell, I'd recommend Braum's over this disaster of a business. read more
