Our kitchen project started in October 2023 and was completed in January 2024. From the very beginning, Rebeca was absolutely amazing. She was the first person I worked with, and she truly listened to everything I wanted and needed. She made the entire process smooth, thoughtful, and honestly enjoyable. Working with her -- and the entire Diamond Blue team -- was a pleasure. Now, I'll be very honest: this was a very expensive kitchen, more than I originally expected. We did a waterfall island, two-tone cabinetry, and used the countertop material as the backsplash for the main kitchen area -- so yes, it was an investment. But it has been worth every single penny. I waited until now to write this review because I wanted time to pass. I wanted to see if anything would go wrong, if the kitchen would hold up, or if issues would appear. Not because of a lack of trust -- just real-life concerns. And I can confidently say: this kitchen has been incredible. It functions beautifully and still looks stunning. On the rare occasion when something did happen -- a piece of wood installed on the hood came loose and fell, breaking the glass on the cooktop -- I called Diamond Blue, and they handled it immediately. No excuses, no delays. They replaced and fixed everything right away and were absolutely amazing about it. Most recently, we had an electrical issue. I emailed them, and they responded immediately. Diogo and his Farther the owners came out the next day, brought three electricians the day after, and they thoroughly addressed and fixed everything that needed attention. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and follow-through are truly exceptional. I recommend Diamond Blue to absolutely everyone I meet. Their work, their integrity, and their customer service are outstanding -- not just during the project, but long after it's finished. We just recently = March of 23 this year, used them again to do our bathroom. Extra long cabinets and countertops. They were efficient, easy to work with, professional, and did a beautiful job. This was a major job. On the positive side, Ashley, who unfortunately is no longer with the company, was phenomenal in assisting with the layout and templating of the design for both the countertops and walls. Then came the negatives: First, the initial installers were a disaster as they intended to power saw the stone right in the kitchen with almost no protection. I had to stop them, complained to Creation, and was sent their 'A' team that was excellent (cutting equipment was set up in the yard, proper coverage was installed etc.). However, once the counters were installed, the second problem arose as it became clear that the fabrication of the edges was seriously flawed. I sent pictures to Jessica, she agreed that the work was unacceptable, and to Creation's credit, they completely re-fabricated the edges at their own cost, mitering them with phenomenal matching of the veins in the quartzite. I was so impressed and grateful to Jessica for taking responsibility and curing the flawed fabrication that I had planned to use Creation for my next major bathroom renovation (Jessica and I had been selecting the stone) until I experienced the third problem. Over the past several months, I have noticed that the mitered edges are substantially chipped, and worse, that there is increasing discoloration along the edges. This discoloration shows most prominently on the tops of the counters. The counters have been installed for two years. The kitchen has had very little use as I was away for a good part of that time, and I am the only one who uses the kitchen, cooking and cleaning. I contacted Jessica, sent her photos, and assured her that no harsh cleaning products were used. She suggested that moisture may have seeped in through the mitered joints and that her workers may have to use a tool to dry it out. I also spoke with a contractor who suggested that the edges may not have been sealed properly. Unfortunately the two workers who arrived, speaking little English, indicated, as far as I could understand, that they did not know how to correct the problem. I then spoke with their supervisor who said that he would send another team. The following day I received a message from Jessica saying that the project was out of the 1 year warranty, and that Creation would not be sending a team to address the problem. To date, to my huge disappointment, the discoloration continues to spread with no further response from Creation, and therefore the 1 star rating.
