The employees were friendly, greeting every customer and answering questions about desserts. We ordered two hot lattes, a cappuccino, cherry cheesecake, 2 chocolate macarons and pavlova. My daughter said that the pavlova here is just like the pavlova she had in Europe. I don't understand reviews complaining about price or that items are too sweet. It is a dessert shop. Some of the desserts are so pretty. This takes time and you are paying for that. I appreciated the attention to detail. We will definitely return.

There are cookies, brownies, cupcakes, single cake and cheesecake slices and full size cheesecakes for sale. My favorites are the oatmeal sammie and the PB cheesecake. I normally avoid sugar cookies but their version with the sanding sugar is too notch! We definitely prefer the storefront, as the items are super fresh and I love that they carry the single servings. Whenever we are downtown for work, this is our stop. When you get something from the Kroger Magpie's selection, it will either be a full size cheesecake or a sampler box of cookies or bars/brownies. It is hit or miss as to how fresh the items are here. This location now refrigerates the sammies, too, which seems to dry them out quickly. Bummer. From either location, we definitely prefer the cheesecakes, pies, and cookies to the actual cake. Either way, support this local gem!
