Took a free city tour on the morning. By 1:30pm, we were walking around looking for a hole in the wall local place for cold beer (hot as hell in Madrid in June!), and some bites. Came across this unassuming place, which had my long awaited for orejas a la plancha. Got some of that, some fried chorizo, complimentary patatas bravas, and about 6 cañas of beer later, we were happily fulfilled.
What we loved about this place is all the locals coming in, they didn't have to say a word, and their drinks were already poured. We were the only tourists in the spot.
If we weren't so full from our dishes, we would have loved to try the pulpo in vinegar, or some of the other bites in the place. That's the shame of having only one stomach to give for the cause.
Gracias por todo, Marbella!!! read more
