I'd say at least once a month they have a deal so remarkable that I scamper over here to load up on that item. Last week they had Old Orchard apple juice, fairly big jug for 98¢. I came in just for that. Bought a dozen. I get a little sheepish like I'm taking advantage, but the clerks are glad to see you and glad you're getting a great deal. No need to worry if you aren't picking up your whole week's worth of groceries, they couldn't be nicer. They also always have a nice selection of seasonal items wether that's pumpkins and mums in the fall or Christmas wreaths and poinsettias after Thanksgiving. Especially if you have errands in Calumet Ave, be sure to stop by!

That's just a game they play with us. That makes people think their overall prices are good. They'll run a few good deals to get you into the store and then they hose you on the rest of the items. Remember, you have to bag your own groceries too. They have little price signs everywhere, "supposedly" showing the regular price, versus the "new" price. Are you kidding me? Did you ever look at those tags? Then they show "their" price on the tag. They have raised prices dramatically, since the new company took over. They're making a complete fool of you, if you think they haven't raised them. They're fooling you BIG TIME. Here's a perfect example. They hung a sign from the ceiling in the meat department that said: "Lower prices on thousands of items. Ground beef $7.18 for a pound.....a POUND! Does that sound like a "low" price to you? Plus, it comes in a tube. You have no idea what you're getting, because you can't see the meat. Here's another one. Chuck roast for $9.98 a pound. Does sound like a "bargain" to you? I could go on and on, how they're playing games with us customers. But you're getting railroaded folks. They put in a new floor, dressed some things up and shoppers think they're getting a great deal. Some of you really need to wake up. But that's ok, keep shopping there and fritter your money away. It's only "money," right? SMH.
