For example: tonight I forgot my wallet at work and was about to run out of gas, I had a five dollar bill in my car and I paid the other five in quarters... I understand this is frustrating and I apologize and as I was walking out he said to the person that was in line behind me "oh my can't even afford to buy gas but you can buy ice cream in here every night". I was already embarrassed as it was and he just made the situation even more uncomfortable. Everyone else at this location are some of the nicest people I've ever met but tonight was just my breaking point.

Quite possibly the most ineffective, futile, pointless, unproductive,…read moreworthless gas station on the planet, if not the universe. - Pumps never work - If a miracle was performed and fuel can pump, none of the buttons on the touchscreen work. - If the touchscreen buttons are operable, the visible screen is broken. - If any of the above works, there's a yellow out of order bag on the pump. - If you're desperate enough to prepay inside, chances are the clerks are either smoking, stocking the beer cave, changing cash for shifts, or taking a dump. Godspeed if you ever stop here and need something. Chances are the only thing you can get is robbed or hassled by panhandlers.

But once you get on it, there's actually plenty of room to get to the pumps, and plenty of parking otherwise. Price was the lowest in this area, and amongst the lowest in town. You had to go inside to pay, which is unusual and a little annoying. But it worked fine, since they weren't busy. The inside seemed pretty empty at least near the entrance, but I think there were some convenience items back to the right. Clerk was friendly. AT LEAST once a week there's an arbitrary closure and I have to be safe time driving down to Sheetz for coffee. When it is not closed, it's like a homeless shelter in and around the store - which could be intimidating to some customers. Maureen is fine, but still is guilty of random closing, but the guy that works when she is out is rude and seems like he's out of it most of the time. One time he came to unlock the store looking like he was high (not just weed high), and another time he was locked inside with a seemingly homeless woman. Outside of the morning situation, the store is constantly filthy and always out of stock of common items. I have voiced my concerns before and this morning again I lost time driving to Sheetz, so I will not gamble any more. It is clear that Speedway doesn't care about its patrons, so I'm sure their life will go on just fine.

You are expected to pull in, get your gas, and get moving -- so as not to hold up the line. Prices, like Costco, are much lower that non-Costco gas stations. It's VISA or MasterCard only - no cash, no other credit cards. The station has a lot of pumps and the lines move quickly. If you're a Costco member, you can definitely save money buying Costco gas.
