I'm in Cleveland opening a restaurant. The parking lot I was utilizing took cards. For some reason they decided they were cash only that night. No problem, I ran over to the closest gas station to pull out cash. In my rush, I didn't even consider the fact that my card accidentally went through the dryer about a week ago, and it was somewhat warped. Well, it got stuck. Would not pop out. It's beeping, flashing a red light, clicking repeatedly as it tries to spit out my very lodged credit card. I tell the gentleman at the counter, he calls someone on a phone to "bring the card grabbers". This woman comes out, and her first words are, "If you hit my machine again I'm calling the cops". I am very confused at this point because all I have done is unsuccessfully try to pull out my card. I haven't shaken the machine, hit it, or in ANY way abused it. She proceeds to scream at me several times "I saw you on camera, get the fuck out of my store." I seriously thought she was joking at first, and once I realized she wasn't, I was just lost. To have some woman screaming at you to "Get the fuck out" when you didn't do anything- is bewildering. All I needed was cash, I wasn't angry, stressing, nor did I abuse that machine. I was more scared I'd messed up their machine than anything. Not only do I respect my own belongings, but I believe that if you wouldn't want it done to you or your things, don't do it to others. I am 5' 110 lbs. Me hitting an ATM is only going only hurt me, and I'm not in the habit of deliberately hurting myself. Life is literally entirely too short to rage out against things beyond your control. Life is too short to be angry. I have NEVER in my nearly forty years, behaved in a way that has gotten me kicked out of anywhere, and a gas station is certainly not where I would start. I don't know who that lady was, but girl... You need to chill. I don't know what you think you saw, or think you heard, but I hope you are humiliated half as much as you humiliated me- when you look back at the cameras and realize what an utter fool you made out of yourself over something that did not happen. I don't know what had you losing it yesterday, or what you have going on in your life- but taking that out on other people- isn't going to make you feel better. Well, there was no gas, but we made an impulsive decision to try the chicken. We sampled the chicken breast dinner plate, which came with 2 sides and a couple of pieces of sliced bread. Our sides were the french fries and coleslaw. The french fries were ok. The chicken was delicious--a nice crunchy coating that did not have the spiciness of KFC, but was all the better for it. The chicken meat was moist and wonderful. We also liked the coleslaw. Staff at Biggie's were friendly and fun. Glad I listened to that impulse.
