The exterior of this gas station is consistently clean. What I most love about this gas station is how spacious it is. There is plenty of room between the pumps, easy to navigate between pumps, in and out. It's my preferred gas station in the area because I never experience issues or claustrophobia. Speedway, gasoline station and convenience store COULD be the best in town. But there's one thing…read moremissing. Any customers need to have a receipt after they purchased Gas. The station is always out of them and the pump pumps you to "See cashier." i'm sure I'm not the only customer that doesn't have time to wait online to see the cashier. But I do need a receipt for my gasoline purchase. My boss is getting angry that I never have a receipt attached to my expense report. I like the convenience store. I like the gasoline. But I especially like the direction I can't be going when I stop here. There are two other stations at this intersection both with convenient stores and gas pumps. But I can't conveniently approach them from the direction. I'm driving. Please, Mr. Gas Station Owner, MAKE SURE YOUR STAFF PUT ROLLS OF PAPER IN EACH PUMP EVERY DAY. BUSINESS CUSTOMERS ARE PROBABLY THE MOST FREQUENT AND PROFITABLE. HELP US DO OUR JOBS!

Not what you'd expect from Speedway!…read more Location: This Speedway is centrally located on Cedar Road. It is especially conveniently located if you are commuting to the highway from South Euclid or Cleveland Heights. Unfortunately, this Speedway is consistently disappointing. It feels like this gas station severely declined in the last few years. It's just not the experience that you would expect from the Speedway brand. Cleanliness: This location is filthy. Everything inside the store is unkempt - coolers, fridges, coffee machines, and food preparation stands. Specifically, there are thick layers of dust, visible handprints, hand smores, and dirt on their equipment stated above. The outside of the store is also not tidy - garbage scattered on the ground and very dirty pumps. I get the feeling that this gas station did not have a deep clean or any clean in awhile. When I make purchases at this store, I never risk buying anything but packaged beverages. I also wear my own gloves at the pumps. While I understand that this is a high traffic location, it seems somewhat disappointingly abandoned. Gas Prices: Gas prices at this store are usually the same or a few cents less than BP across the street. Pumps malfunction 100% of the time. I always encounter payment issues at the pump with various error codes, and so do other customers (based on observations). I always bring it up to employees in hopes that these issues get fixed. They always state that they know that the pumps do not take payments. The lack of fully working pumps creates a long line at this location. I would recommend avoiding this location if you are in a rush. Customer Service: customer service at this location is just not good. There are no greetings or farewells. I sympathize with employees because they look exhausted and unmotivated. Sometimes the checkout is not even staffed. Safety: The gas station is not well lit at night. Despite being on the main road, it just doesn't feel like the safest place in the city. I get very reluctant to go there in the evening despite loving nightlife. Overall, I would only recommend this gas station if you must get gas on your way past this gas station or desperately need gas. Otherwise, it's not your usual Speedway experience. You always leave this store disappointed in service.

The overhead lights seemed dimmer than at other GetGo gas stations. I didn't not check out the inside but from the outside it also looked not really up to brand. It didn't feel unsafe, but it definitely felt rundown and poorly managed. Gas prices here were about 20 cents higher than at the other gas stations. I was too tired to look for any other nearby gas stations. The gas station is conveniently located pretty close to the highway so it was a plus. If you're in a rush, it'll do. But if you've got options, I'd recommend finding a cleaner, more functional station nearby. GetGo usually does better--but this one felt like it was running on fumes.

My issue is that more often than not, the soda machine has issues. Today the Diet Pepsi wasn't working, and that was the sole reason I stopped. This BP is 5 stars all the way for me, and I'll explain why. It may not be 5 stars to you for two…read morereasons: first, gas is usually more expensive than surrounding stations, and second, it could probably use a remodel (although to me that is part of its charm). This BP has the friendliest, most helpful staff you will ever find. They are all really great. Also, BP Chagrin is open 24/7/365 (366 in a leap year). If you are making pancakes at 4 AM and realize you are out of milk, they are there for you. If you need batteries or bread on Christmas Day, they are there for you. They also sell diesel, kerosene, propane tanks, and ice. They are also active in the community. They are always allowing local groups to use there space and water for fundraising car washes etc. Thank you Chagrin BP, for always being there.

The sell lottery tickers here. Which is good to know when the power ball reaches a massive amount. Staff: Not much to say on them. They cash me out. Normally I don't interact with them because I pay at the pump. Clientele: Could be anyone. We all get gas once in a while :) Final thoughts: I'm pretty indifferent. You have traffic coming from Middleburg and Strongsville as well as down Sprague. They do have many of your emergency essentials within the establishment. I will say though that gas is usually a little higher here. The second thing I would note is after pumping gas it has always stated "see clerk inside for receipt". When it's freezing cold and you have finished, all you want to do is get into your car and go. Especially when you want to make it to work on time. I guess "Who needs a receipt anyway"? I would say that business people do that need to submit expense reports. All in all I say "Don't sweat the small stuff, it's all small stuff"! The times that I have gone in to purchase something they've been good. Appreciate that they're open for our convenience.
