Most gas stations are 24/7, so I don't understand why this one is limited. Perhaps the gas station itself closes, so they don't want customers to get stranded when it's empty. The car wash itself is pretty average for the time it take to wash your car. It has side and above dryers, but they seem to cut the drying time in half. You can get away with only 30 seconds. Overall, the gas station is very friendly. I've gone inside to get coffee many times, and if you bring your own cup, it's basically half off.

I tend to get groceries at Hy-Vee, typically an hour of two after landing in the Twin Cities. It's cool that I have shopped enough to get a gas discount. Where is a Hv-Vee with a gas station? I did a search and found this one in Lakeville. I then realized that I have passed by this gas station to get to Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers in the past. Cool! It was nice dropping by this area. I was last getting a frozen custard dessert over a year ago on a frigid winter's day because that's how I roll. This gas station is clean and inviting. Scanning my barcode was a challenge. Other than that, I was able to pay for gas with my Canadian credit card just fine at the gas pump. The convenience store looked inviting. I saw a man come out with a massively long sub sandwich. I started to drool. I love subs. I grabbed dinner at Freddy's afterwards. I'd love to check out the convenience store, and see what food and drinks are available. It must be decent because I love everything at Hy-Vee's. I'm glad that I dropped by to get my gas discount. On Tuesday morning, I needed a jump after I fueled up at SA in Mendota Heights. Craig, from Dick's Valley Service, came to get me going. He tested the battery and was polite and informative. I don't know if any of my questions were stupid, yet he answered them all professionally and with patience. He gave me a quote for a new battery after it was determined that there were no mechanical issues causing the problem (whew - no new alternator!!). The car didn't start on Wednesday morning, and I decided to just bus it. Wasn't in the mood to deal with it before the crack of dawn. I used the AAA app this morning to get a jump so that I could get my vehicle over to my nearby dealership. The shop called to say that Craig was on his way and that he would be there momentarily. He arrived about 10 minutes after I pushed send. I now know that I'd better be out of the shower and ready to go before I report a need for help! I asked if Craig had a battery and he did. The cost was just under $147, which saved me over $40 by not having to go to the dealership. He used some sort of device that kept the presets in my vehicle while he was changing out the battery. Service was quick and Craig is a great guy. He's funny, along with being polite and informative. We had a nice, casual conversation during the process. If you're in need of service, you'll have a smile if Dick's Valley Service shows up because they do it right. They also don't try to sell you something you don't need. I figured that I needed a new battery, yet my schedule wasn't making it easy to get it done before I needed another jump. There's a six-year warranty on the new battery, which suits me just fine. While I hope that I never need to call them again anytime soon, I know that I'll be in good hands.

This location is packed in peak hours but off hours and in winter time while it's snowing a little, this location is dead and has no one in line. Great option if you can come off peak hours I'm always a fan of touch option because it's about 50 percent of holiday gas stations have both. This location has the wheel wash!!! That is something that I like to get all of the break dust off! The blowers are on the newer side and do a great job! But not the best on the back/trunk of the car. It's on the longer side and takes about 6-7 minutes total to clean your car. Overall this is a great location and does a great job cleaning your car with plenty of options!
