Mara is wonderful, talented and professional! She colored and styled my hair for my birthday. Captured above! She's very quick, professional and delivers amazing results. I am very picky about my color as a natural blonde, it's easy to have the color be too yellow or too icy. She was able to give me the beautiful golden results I was looking for. I highly recommend her for any of your hair needs. read more

I saw Mara for years. At first it was great, she was very attentive. She performed great. I overlooked her double booking in a cramped space. She even moved wo telling me so I drove ALLLLLL the way to the old shop for an appt. During one of her doubles, my hair over processed and I overlooked that. She was never clear on the price, which is bizarre. She wanted to add 10 more dollars each visit. Fine. There was another time where I sat for an hour while she squeezed her daughter in wo an apology. I overlooked that. The last visit a woman who she apparently cared more for showed up. She warned me this woman was fussy and I would have to step aside. Needless to say while her and the "better customer" spoke in their own language I moved to an empty chair and waited. I was so hurt when she asked me to comb my own hair and then asked me to blow dry it. Meanwhile she was fussing over the woman who showed up after me. There were 5 people in the cramped space and I left embarrassed with wet hair. Mara promised profusely to "do something special next time". I never went back. had to pay another woman 300 to fix my hair. I hate leaving this review but it was necessary. I paid her a lot of cash for a long time and she was regularly late, rude and double booking. Double booking isn't a thing for real professionals. My guy now is great. Charges less and is way more professional. read more

I found this salon on Groupon. Mara did a wonderful job on my "old lady" hair. I had it highlighted and cut. I got so many compliments! I definitely recommend her! read more

I don't usually go to a hairdresser unless I have an event to go to...in this case a wedding. I used a groupon and called to set up an appointment. Mara was nice. I don't really take care of my hair at all and she explained different types of products I could use to help with my hair and she had specific products you can buy from her too if you are interested. I wanted to have some curls in my hair and some fringey bangs and the look I ended up with was very cute. My appointment went a little over time but she still watched her pace and did not rush though to finish up. I definitely recommend making an appointment with her. read more

Mara is amazing. This was my first time getting extensions; she took her time and explained the whole process. I walked out pleased with the results but when I gave it a day I knew I wanted a few more layers. She was so accommodating & eager to get my hair exactly how I wanted it. She is so friendly & knowledgeable - clearly only wants the best for her clients so they walk out fully satisfied! read more

Wow!! I saw Mara for the first time today and I'm so happy I found her. I LOVE my hair!! I had mousy brown hair with some greys and some old brassy highlights and a few hours later I was transformed into Jennifer Aniston (well, you know what I mean :-) She gave me the exact color I was looking for, which I wasn't sure was possible. She took her time and is very skilled. She's also very friendly. Definitely a five star experience! read more
