When the waiter was taking our order he was helpful in trying to explain the things that we were unsure about on the menu, and he also advised us to buy order two or three more tapas (which turned out to be good advice). The food was really good, but the prawns in oil was a bit odd. If the place wasn't so far away from where I live then I'd definitely go back. Altamira would be great for parties, especially in the summer.

When asked: "Why should we leave so suddenly?" there was only a short, stroppy answer: "You've already overstayed by 5 minutes "Your table will be assigned again from 8 p.m. That's what it says in the email." We then tried to ask in a normal and nice way whether we could stay, because we didn't know that the table had been reassigned and no one had told us in the last 2 hours, even though we still had new food and a bottle of wine have ordered. We were then told again in a very unfriendly manner that we should please get up and leave IMMEDIATELY. We were all really shocked. An evening for four with friends and I tried to politely explain that the reservation confirmation didn't say that we only had the table until 8 p.m. (I checked again afterwards, it wasn't in there!) ... nor was anyone calling us Somehow we were told that evening that we could have skipped it and that we were supposed to "clear the table" at 8 p.m. I was so incredibly sad because we only go out very few times a year and had specially arranged for a babysitter I also didn't understand why we should leave right now. 5 minutes later we were literally thrown out the door and of course had little interest in spending money here. We needed to wait longer again to finally pay the guy only to be told that they dont want to seperate the bill because he is "too busy".
