Went here for dinner Saturday 3/18, as the reviews were pretty good and we had already been to eddies a few times and barracuda, this seemed like a nice change of pace
Was dead, maybe 3 other tables there. We sat on the deck, but being somewhat late (8pm or so) there wasn't much to look at, views are nice during the daytime however
Service was a bit slow but not a big deal. No wine list but they have Malbec and Cabernet, or some whites. Which was weird because it's connected to a restaurant called Burgers and Wine, they're the same place, we ordered off both menus, so if it's a wine place it's weird not having a wine list?
Ordered the mussels and the sabrosada to start. The sabrosada is 2 little breads with chorizo pate and Brie. Good, not earth shattering
The mussels were amazing. Ina spicy chorizo broth, served w bread, they were very large compared to what we get at home (menu didn't say what kind of mess they were) and there were 9 or 10 of them, and was only about $7 US. We pay double to triple that at home dorm much smaller mussels
Added on the beetroot salad, was okay, the dressing I didn't care for but it was good enough. Large portion of goat cheese on top. Breaded.
And then the slider trio. Ordered medium, came medium to medium rare which was perfect for me. They were fine. The classic and the blue cheese one with caramelized onions tasted basically the same. The steak one was interesting, tasty. No substitutions or add on a for the classic, unlike if u are ordering the full size
Wine ended up only being like $4US per glass, the pours were kind of on the small size tho.
Overall it was pretty good! Good option if u want to get away from resort buffets for a change read more
