She finally contacted him after me dealing with this for months and she told me he ADMITTED to smoking weed in the apartment *mind blown! (Clearly all the weed has messed up his brain because how moronic can you be} Please note that the lease states that this is a NO smoking community. She told me to call back up there if I am still dealing with the smoke further & suggested I just use plugins to cover the smoke. She stated that she told him that he has to stop smoking and he agreed. He has not! She also said that after 3 warnings they could be evicted- it's been well over 3x of them smoking and they absolutely have not been evicted! I've contacted the courtesy officer numerous time - to no avail, weed smoke is STILL in my house as of today! I have sent emails begging that action be taken to which I don't even get the courtesy of a response. I've even had to contact the FPD. They live below me and their smoke rises and comes in through my vents, cabinets, etc. The smell literally makes me sick and gives me a headache! I fear my uniform, clothes and hair now smell like weed because of them! I work a very intense job and I can't even come home at the end of a stressful day and relax comfortably. The smoke wakes me up out of my sleep daily. It literally baffles me that this guy admitted to breaking the rules and not a thing is being done to handle it! With the current management, I have only consistently interacted with one person (Gabby), and she has been very dismissive. My experience: The apartment was not move‑in ready. They could have easily given me a ready to move-in apartment but chose not to despite being informed of availability if the current one did not meet my liking. - Dirty and partially painted walls in some areas - Toilet flushometer not working in one bedroom - Window blinds missing the adjustment stick and a hole in the net - Kitchen garbage disposal not working - Balcony door did not lock securely - Kitchen cabinet hinges and handles are poorly installed and loose - Water fixtures like hose bibs are poorly installed in both bedroom bathroom - A big whole approx. 7 inches in diameter under the kitchen sink - No trash can provided, despite being charged valet trash fees - Dishwasher not working - Floor vibrates and shakes when the HVAC unit is turned on (both cooling and heating) (The last three issues are still unresolved as of this post. Several maintenance tickets were submitted before the dishwasher was finally addressed, yet it remains unresolved.) Despite all these issues, I had no choice but to take the apartment because I was relocating from Texas and was out of state. I gave management two months to fix everything before I returned. Those two months I continued to pay rent for an apartment with no furniture moved in. When I came back after those two months, nothing had been fixed. I have been calling the office for weeks to speak with management regarding threatening emails sent about late payments when my rent was and has always been paid on time. I have been told my messages are being given to the assistant manager, and they would call me back and have yet to receive anything! During the day of the walk through, we noticed a minor fixture on the door, and Mr.John, the maintenance guy didn't hesitate to fix it "JOHNNY ON THE SPOT"!!! This was already a great indication that the staff here on this property, truly care about their residents. What a great way to start our move in!!!!
