The Maplewood Park is linked together by a trail with two other Mississauga parks, Lake Aquitaine Park in the south, and Glen Eden Park in the north (after crossing a bridge across Derry Road). Most people visits Lake Aquitaine due to the Meadowvale Community Centre and the lake, so the other two parks have way less people. I especially like the dense woods in Maplewood Park which become quite pretty during fall. It is also quieter. Interestingly, the park has a lot of squirrels - and I mean A LOT, probably hundreds and they are very active. You can count more squirrels than people along the trail, and they ask for food. read more
