It is a little more expensive than some of the other options we considered, but they have a lot of other benefits (like included lunch for the big kid and cloth diapers for the baby). And we feel like it's incredibly valuable to get the benefits of language immersion.

I also love that there are some "extra" programs we can sign the kids up for to give them some variety or new experiences that I do not have time to do as a full-time working mom. I have my daughter enrolled in a weekly dance class where she is learning coordination, grace, rhythm and moves. I was very disappointed with the quality of care, the level of supervision, and the oversight of the owners. My son (who was in the toddler-early preschool age group at the time) had four different teachers during his time at Lexington Kids. Each time one of his teachers left or was fired, the parents were provided with a letter informing us that the teacher was no longer with the school--no more explanation than that. My son couldn't get to know any of the teachers because the rate of turnover, and I was uncomfortable with the lack of supervision on the playground. I ended up pulling him out and enrolling him somewhere else. I did not feel like my concerns were listened to or considered by the owners, and my contact information was lost twice. I can't recommend this childcare. Also, my first review of this childcare was reported (presumably by the owners) and removed, and after I posted this second review solely about my own experiences there, I was emailed by the owner and basically asked to take it down. This is an honest review in every way about my experience, and I will not change it.

Rainbow Childcare Center requires a two week notice. Which is reasonable. Only, when I experienced a hardship and was 1 day behind on the $1240 a month tuition that I had been paying since 2015, The Director Maria and Asst. Director Daniel (probably related to Maria and her mom Cheryl as well) dropped my child with no notice or just cause. Childishly sending my child's personal belongings in the mail. So I'd assume your discriminating against my child or that there is a personal vendetta, and or you had another child to take my child's spot that you could make more money off of. ??? Personally, i believe they dropped my child because I confronted issues that needed to be addressed by staff. Needless to say I contacted the proper authority and there is a full investigation. ***Keep looking parents*** I feel bad for their staff. The non-family ones that have to deal with the BS on a daily basis. Sad, great area: Unreliable, uneduated, manipulative conniving lead employee's.
