The library room was very comfortable, the road is quite, and the farm is very peaceful with several beautiful horses and a great view of the mountains. Anne was very accommodating of our dogs, and was able to take them outside for a break while we were away downhill skiing. This is a very dog-friendly B&B! If you like cross-country skiing, bring your skis! We didn't, but there are miles of trails right from the farm, and Anne is very knowledgeable about them. The weather was very cold when we were there, and it was such a pleasure to come back to the 2 wood stoves! We definitely hope to come back!

I wish I had more time to enjoy the attractive sitting areas downstairs. The shower space was small. If you are heading to the hospital for a surgery and need to do a washing prep ask for a room with the most shower space.

Well it was right on the River and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The room had ample space and we couldn't have asked for better hosts! Alison made our stay inviting and pleasant in every way. Nice hot breakfast every morning and hot coffee throughout the day in the dining room for our convenience. The deck by the river was just lovely and tranquil sitting listening to the rush of the water. We chose to have some wonderfully prepared aperitifs rather than desert and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The attentive service, warm fireplace, beautiful room made our meal perfect. This morning I remembered to take pictures of the brunch which blew me away. Again the food was great: perfectly cooked frittata this time with ricotta and mushrooms, tender scalloped potatoes lightly enhanced by a lovey cheesy sauce, French toast served with maple cream, and the best corn chowder I've ever had. Just back from a 2 Night Stay at The Follansbee Inn. Another wonderful trip…read more The Inn has been Hosting In-house concerts once a month for about a year. We drove up to listen to "The Jovial Crew" Saturday. This group performs Shanty, folklore rich songs of the sea, pub and more. Amazing vocals from the guys and a chance to join in to sing along. This was a BYOB event, a traditional Grog mix was provided by the Inn Keepers (non alcoholic) to which you could add the "Spirit"that you brought with you. House made Desserts were included with admission. They even had some themed treats, Hardtack and Joe Froggers. If you were staying at the Follansbee Inn, admission for the concert was included. For locals, tickets were available at the door. But, stay at the Inn for an overnight, their Breakfasts are included and amazingly delicious.
