I was worried it might be too small, but it was just right! I stayed in the loft bedroom's king sized bed and my friend stayed on the queen sized sleeper sofa downstairs. We had perfect timing and got to see the leaves changing color and enjoy the cool weather (being from South Florida these are both unusual!) We cooked some of our meals at the cabin in the well-stocked kitchen. There is a full fridge, stove/oven and a full set of dishes, glasses, cooking utensils and silverware. It got cold enough that we made hot apple cider and lit the wood burning fireplace. It was also nice to have the hot tub to soak in after a day out on the town in the cold. The nearby town of Helen is an adorable Bavarian Alpine Village with great little shops and restaurants. We also drove to nearby Dahlonega to check out the shops and artists there. We were able to go horseback riding at the Sunburst Stables in Clarkesville and we also took a trip to the North Georgia Zoo in Cleveland - I highly recommend both! I can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy some more outdoor activities like tubing on the Chattahoochee River or boating on Unicoi Lake at Unicoi State Park.

Have made so many precious memories of our times together. Pictures of the great grandkids growing from year to year. Taking turns making meals & the fun & of exchanging gifts. The dirty Santa gift swap. Wouldn't trade it for anything. Jeanette is a fantastic hostess. Couldnt be more helpful. Have come to regard her as a friend. Cabins are the best. Will continue as long as we are physically able. Leaving today for a rare 3 night stay on a summer vacation at cabin #3. Can't wait. Highly recommend to all.

We wish we could buy one for ourselves lol. The views aren't substantial, but the location was prime for reaching all of our destinations easily. This layout and floor plan easily accommodated all of us comfortably. If you are worried about space, don't even sweat it. I bet it could fit double with zero issues. All the amenities worked and Jeanette is so timely in responses and getting our needs met. There is something for everyone, seriously. The only bad thing you could possibly say is that the roads to get into the cabins is a bit confusing and a bit technical to drive with a full size truck and trailer. However, once you're in, you just hate to leave. I found at the end of every long day of riding, I was so happy to get to come home to Wildflower cabin #1 as my home. We checked in with friends who rented another cabin #7 and they raved about it as well. Look no further for your family lodging needs, this is the place you are looking for! =)

We were in Building number #6 unit 1561. The units are three levels. Upper level is living area. 2nd level is a bathroom and bedroom with a single and queen bed. Closet with vacuum cleaner and broom and dust pan. Table stand with lamp. The bottom level is the master bedroom. Deck off the bedroom. Bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, toilet, and sink. The Heating process was ok for main living space. But was weak for 2nd floor area did not heat well. The master the same but there was a space heater in the wall. The fireplace worked nicely. Wood can be gotten from Ingles store. There is starter wood also. I did pick up wmy first wood buy from hardware store ain cashiernd starter would. Wood bundle was 8.99 and at Ingles is 7.99. There is nothing to store ashes. Ingles is the place to shop but not inexpensive similar to Busches or Publiexs. TV location is across the room from sitting area. The reason is the location power outlet and cable connection. There are DVD players available. At this time of year somethings are closed. Farmer Market was closed and the restaurant on Sapphire. There are restaurants close by. We did not eat out but chose to buy from Ingles. Eat at unit. We went to White water falls. Sapphire which is mile down the road is where rec center. The gym is very well setup. One thing to note one needs to drive to things. If you want to walk the topography has elevation. So know that situation. If one wants a quiet place and nice environment this is the place I would recommend this place. We were satisfied with our experience. The reason for a 4 is our experience with finding registration and the toilet kept running. I called office for more trash bags and how to handle ashes. Left a message but no returned call. If the items noted did not happen would have given a 5 start.

We couldn't sleep because the smell got worse with the heat on. We had to keep the door open to break up the smell. The place is dated and furniture worn out. The floors were filthy. I am sitting now on one of three decks overlooking the river on 1.3 acres and have a breathtaking view of nature. I can hear the sounds of the river from anywhere on this property. One of the decks is screen enclosed with a couch, rocking chairs and a high top table with chairs. We are in the middle of nowhere. This home is very secluded and I love it! The representative Christy- was extremely helpful from the very beginning ; making sure everything was in order for us when we arrived. She even left a goody basket with a nice bottle of wine, munchies, salami, hot chocolate and marshmallows and popcorn. Every room in this home faced the Horseshoe River and the amazing view of nature. There is a private walk down to the river where another deck waited for us. It was easy getting down but a major work out to get back up. The house is stocked with everything you would need to just hunker down, make your own meals and never leave (until it was time to go). Oh, you would need to get your own groceries ;). Just give me a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board and I'm set. This place is beautiful and 5++.
