Don't miss the original hardwood floors and antique Persian rugs. The owner, Mrs. Janice Michael, provided delicious quiché, a breakfast casserole, fresh fruit, juices and hot coffee ever morning. She would prepare the dishes in individual serving ramekins the evening prior, so all we needed to do is warm the them in the microwave. This was awesome- we could eat at our convenience and on our time schedule, not anyone else's. Each room has it's own private bathroom, television, wardrobe, books, wing back chair, king bed, and luggage stand. The spaces are amazing, quite, romantic, and extremely secure. One absolutely can not go wrong enjoying this historic bed and breakfast!!

Though I'd grown up in the town and on the campus, I'd never stayed here before. The familiarity of the surroundings, paired with the quiet comfort of the inn, helped me navigate a time filled with overwhelming emotions and deep gratitude. Sitting on the porch in the rain, listening to birds in the morning--it was peaceful and grounding. We really enjoyed the Cole House. The inkeepers and owners, The Waltons are very friendly and welcoming hosts. We stayed in the Cottage, which is a private little room w/a porch and bathroom behind the main house. It is close to the casinos if you are interested in heading up to play some cards, catch a concert, or check out a buffett. Very quaint, clean, and full of all kinds of antiques. The main dining room is large for many guests to enjoy meals together. Across from the B&B is a lovely gazebo in a large park area, which could be great for a small wedding party also.
