I got The Hangover sandwich which is Polish ham, old fashioned smoked ham, salami, smoked gouda, green leaf lettuce, tomato, onion, and beer mustard on a Portugese roll. This is not Thumanns or Boars Head deli meat. All meats are made and smoked on premises in the old school European tradition with no preservatives. The quality shows when you take a bite into their sandwiches. That beer mustard was the perfect complement to the other ingredients. The sandwich was lovingly and carefully prepared by the lovely young lady behind the counter who was so friendly and accommodating. No Jersey Mike's for me! This is where I go when I crave a real sandwich.

As pretty as the delivery of goodies are, I can't help but see the beautiful smile and proud look on my son's face. One thing you have to know about my kiddo, he is tight with his money. God knows, he has more money than I do. So for him to do this for me, it really touched my heart. The delivery arrived on time as promised. Everything was packaged nicely and the edible chocolate covered strawberries were ruby red, plump and fresh. Gifts like these are always on the pricier side so that's to be expected. They also do bouquets of flowers but my son knows that I'm not into flowers. He later told me that he carefully chose his selections. Uh-huh, we all know who ate most of the chocolate covered strawberries and candies. As my son goes off to college in the fall, this will be a Mother's Day celebration that I will always remember (sniff, sniff).

These kids have been through a lot, not able to finish out Senior year, no prom, no graduation, no celebrations for these monumental events.. we thought we would cheer them up with ballon columns. PAID them well in advance of our date needed and they charged an additional $100 for delivery, so basically would have been over $300 for each order. Well they were NO SHOWS the Day of, I called an hour AFTER they were supposed to arrive for the 18th bday and they said 'oh it will take us a few hours' then they decided they wouldn't come at all because we were 'too far away' (even though they charged us $100 for the 35 min drive) So needless to say we needed to find another company for the 16th bday celebration and boy are we glad we did!! Total Party not only delivered a beautiful bouquet for the sweet 16, but they arrived EARLY!! Few years back, we figured we'd try and pretag a tree after Thanksgiving to go back and cut later in December, well it was the first year they stopped holding the tree for you where they would record the location by way of a grid system (like the game Battleship). So we tagged a tree and when we went back it was gone ( so much for the honor system). This year it appears that it's pay one price, any tree 5'-20' tall is $99. They used to charge by height, don't remember rate per foot? Didn't ask why the change. It would be nice to get a 20' tree for the price of a 5' foot, but cutting a hole in the ceiling would be out of the question. See what's doing next year?
