Plenty of parking and overall a fun and easy way to take my little kids fishing for the first time.

Our cabin came with two rooms. The front room came with a full? maybe queen sized bed with a mattress. The back room had two bunk beds to accommodate a total of four people. Plenty of electrical sockets if you want to add an extra heater or fan. The front room has an AC unit. No bathroom, no kitchen. You get a nice sized spot facing mostly forest with a fire pit and a picnic table, which is great for cooking and eating. They also provide an outdoor spigot for non-potable water and a garbage bin. Easy walk to the very clean bathrooms where you can grab a hot shower if you want. Definitely book ahead.

We witnessed the flower planting and the care they put into the sites after each trailer leaves. We are into our 4th year traveling the country. This is our 4th time here and 2nd time bringing our grandson. The lots are wooded, clean and larger than most. It is a kid and pet friendly spot with a lot to do. There are hiking paths in back of park in which we ride our bikes around. My grandson loves the pool, playground, basketball and game room. He also does chores for quarters to get items from the gumball machines. The people that utilize this space are genuinely friendly. Two years ago, we had a blast 4th of July where everyone decorated space and those that had golf carts, for parade and karaoke. First visit here, we found ourselves observers in a barbecue cookoff event in the park which was really interesting. I definitely recommend and enjoy being out in the wilderness!

We gave them a deposit of $1850, their contract states that they can keep up to $1000 of that if we cancel, which is fine, we were ok to take the loss and honor our end of the contract and just get the $850 back. They CHOSE not to do the same and honor their end of it. It has now been almost two weeks and not a single return call from this campground. So unbelievably disappointed in how unprofessional this campground has been.

Saturday morning the seasonal campers showed up in the RV next to our site. They then proceed to walk thru our site, and then after asking then to please stop I was meet with anger and rage from the group. At one point while my 7-yr old daughter was in the tent the group threatened to "run over the tent" with their truck. My daughter overheard this and became extremely scared fearing for herself and her father's safety. I then went to the office and explained about being threatened and not only did they know who they were, they called them on a Walkie talkie right from the office to the group. As you can guess, they sided with their friends that stay every week right next to the main shelter, we were in the site next to them on the lake. So then at 7Pm at night I packed up everything and left with no refund. I had to fight with the credit card company to get my money back. BE WARNED IF YOU ARE NOT PART OF THE OWNERS GROUP AND DO NOT ALIGN WITH THEIR VIEWS YOU BE TREATED AS A SECOND-CLASS PERSON, HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMEND!! They have given me 10 to 12 excuses as to why they haven't refunded my security deposit five weeks after I left in mid-October. The TV and Internet reception had repeatedly gone out. The water to the cabin even was out for a few days. I just went back there yesterday to find out where my deposit is and the receptionist said she had a lot of voicemails to answer. Unfortunately, our recent trip with a group of six was extremely frustrating due to the organization and scheduling. Our original time slot was changed because there were not enough groups, which we understood. However, our new 10:20 time slot was expanded to accommodate additional groups, and we were then required to wait an extended period for a very large group that arrived late. As a result, we did not begin rafting until after 12:15, and the safety review had to be rushed because of the delay. Throughout the trip, our group was repeatedly forced to stop and wait for the late group, who frequently fell out of their raft and struggled to follow the safety instructions. I estimate we spent close to an hour collectively waiting along the river. Even the group scheduled after ours eventually passed us, and we did not return to the bus until shortly after 5:00. I want to emphasize that Olivia, Bailey, Kristen, and Sid were excellent guides and did their best under difficult circumstances. My frustration is entirely with the organization and scheduling of the trip. Additionally, while this was outside of anyone's control, we paid for Class II and III rapids, but the river flow that day was approximately 820 CFS, making the experience much closer to Class I and II. I hope you will take this feedback seriously, as this experience was significantly different from the positive experiences that led me to book with White Water Challengers again.
