In the fall, she did glass pumpkins and this time it was heart-shaped paperweights for Mother's Day. Spots are limited, so hop to it and register online to guarantee a spot. It was fun to watch others take their turn and see passersby stop to "ooh" and "aah". Cost was $30 - if I'm going to spend money on a gift, why not make it custom and handmade? I researched the available classes in indy and price compared. and by about $10-25 this company offers classes cheaper and has very quick availability. I took their class their customer service was quick, the class time varies i'd recommend reaching out before hand if you have time constraints. It was the quickest BLS class i've ever had which i appreciated but I wouldn't recommend for someone's first ever class because you wont likely understand the physiology behind CPR wit the pace this class goes but if you're already in EMS this is a perfect class. The location was clean and instructors/owner were kind and helpful but you could tell they were ready to go.

All three of my children participated in ACST's learn to swim program beginning at age 4/5. They…read moreabsolutely LOVED their instructors and I was amazed at how quickly they became confident and independent in the water. They received attentive instruction from all of their coaches and progressed through the program eventually joining the competitive team. My oldest even eventually became an instructor for the developmental program. The competitive coaches work hard to instill a team atmosphere among the various groups both in and out of the pool. My kids fell in love with the sport through ACST. The coaches, board of directors, and swim families provide a strong support system for swimmers and parents alike. We only left the program following our move. I highly recommend ACST for the beginning swimmer as well as those wanting to continue to a more competitive level. I believe they have even added a Masters club recently. Great program!!

Both my 5 and 7 year-old placed into the beginning class. I watched their class from the bleachers which had either one or two other students, depending on the day. You are not able to interact with the instructor as a parent, and I never knew her name. I watched my kids become increasingly apprehensive until one day I watched the instructor dunking my 5 year old daughter repeatedly while she would scream and cry in between dunkings. The other children in the group got scared and all jumped out of the water and backed away from her in fear. When I went to the administration, after hearing my story, they talked to the instructor and told me my kids weren't ready to learn to swim and refused to participate. They did at least give me my money back, but I was most upset that they have instructors that would do that, then blame the child for it. I had to find another place quickly, because I didn't want the fear to stick. I got them into other lessons within a week, and after 4 months, my son has mostly gotten over the fear instilled in him by ACST's instructor, but my daughter still has some lingering issues. She will at least get in the pool as long as she can touch the bottom, but she is afraid of going underwater at all and still starts crying when she hears the word "bob." I would not recommend ACST for children to learn to swim.

A few years ago, my friend and I needed a new place to get our regular Zumba fix, she found a Groupon for Studio Z, we gave it a shot and the rest is history. I won't go into too much detail on all the classes and instructors as the scheduling and instructors can change. I would recommend checking their Facebook for daily updates on the schedule. Let me start by saying this, this place is definitely worth visiting. Everyone here is incredibly nice and wants you to have a blast and meet your fitness goals as well. Tons of different class times and various instructors. They ALL rock and bring their own unique style to their classes. I have never not had fun in a class. You will find that some classes can be a bit more high energy/impact than others, so I recommend trying a few instructors to find what works best for you and your style. They currently offer one price to take any of the classes they offer that day, that means you could try multiple classes for the price you would normally pay for one elsewhere! They also offer unlimited type of passes. Check their website for current pricing and times of classes. Should you try this place out, don't be intimidated if others seem to know the songs really well, they just might as this place has many regulars, come try it out and as long as you are moving, you are doing Zumba right! Also, if you see me there (I try to go a few times a week), feel free to say hi to me, I love meeting new Zumba lovers! They also offer some alternatives to regular Zumba including Turbo Kick, Circuit Challenge and Zumba in the Circuit (Zumba + Circuit, one of my favorites!). Special shout out to Mary, one of the owners of Studio Z for being one of the most motivating, inspiring, crazy fun people ever. She is so welcoming to everyone and her classes are awesome. She is also a personal trainer and those services are offered here at as well. She has inspired many people (including myself) to go to the training to teach Zumba ourselves. She is even currently offering an option to allow these instructors to try out teaching with a free class option on Friday nights, amazing! They really make an effort to get to know you here, and the studio has a wide array of ages that take classes. No gymtimidation! I personally take the Pound classes, which are offered 6 days a week. It is a drumming style workout with a great mix of music. You can either pay $8 for 1 class, or do a 10 class pass for $55. I think $5.50 a class is VERY reasonable for a specialized workout like this one. They also offer lots of other classes including spinning, TRX, Zumba and more. They also have memberships as well if you want to do multiple types of classes during the month.

I've used coach's for two drivers so far and both times have been great experiences. My oldest took…read morethe classroom as well as the drives and the driving test and the worst part was just scheduling the 6 drives. But after I got the hang of it we knocked them out. The instructors were fantastic and shared feedback after each drive. My second son did the online curriculum and the 6 drives with coach's. Very smooth experience and scheduling the drives was a breeze the second time. Once again the instructors were great and gave useful feedback. We will definitely use them for our last two in a couple years!
