I rate this a 1 star out of 5. If I could rate it a no star out of 5 I would, or maybe in the negatives. That seems better. I rate this school so low not merely just on my opinion/experience, but by how most of my close friends were treated there. I went to this school from Freshman-Junior (1st semester) years. I left in the middle of my Junior year because things were getting too bad and they weren't help at all. The teachers are pretty much useless, the staff in the office is rude. (Besides Mrs. Turner she is absolutely amazing). The school didn't really care about my education. I had failed 2 classes my freshman year, and instead of letting me retake them, they moved me into higher classes and I never had one clue on what was going on. They didn't ever listen to me or try to help me. They shamed me for being depressed and tried putting me on suicide watch. They didn't care that I had medical issues, or problems at home, or with bullies, or simply with boys trying to touch me in the hallway. They treat students not on how they learn, but how they play sports. If you're great at sports, this is the place for you. You'll never get in trouble, nothing will ever be your fault, no one will ever be against you and you will simply do great regardless of how bad your grades are. If you're like me, full of anxiety, depression, health conditions, self doubt, no motivation, alone, or different. You're not accepted here. If you're gay, depressed or trans, you are a shame, you are a sin, you are not human. This school will make you feel useless, stupid and make you feel like you can't do anything. I also had to take religion classes, that weren't needed.. but they don't tell you that. When I moved schools, those credits didn't transfer. Now I'm more behind. This school made my life miserable. I may have to take 2 more years of high school now. If they would've helped a little and wouldn't have treated me like trash. Maybe I'd be on track. But they don't care about you if you're not quarterback. This school makes you pay $10,000 a year, for a BULLSHIT education that you can get (better) at any other school for free. I truly believe this school should be shut down. read more
