We liked sitting by the pool. Well.... we booked this again and when we showed up NO ONE WAS THERE. The place looked like it had been abandoned. The grounds were unkept with dead tree branches in the back. The pond was filthy. It looked like the maintenance person just walked away. They confirmed our arrival the day before but no one was there. We had to find a hotel after a long day of traveling. They called us to say "sorry." Really "sorry!" Don't bother. Last time we thought it was strange because it wasn't really a B&B - just a room but with the studio we could cook our own breakfast. I don't think they know how to run a business. One star is TOO MUCH.

The meal is rounded out with fresh fruit and hot coffee. Oh stop by the coffee cart for fresh baked cookies if you need an afternoon or bedtime snack before turning in for the night. My friends and I shared the Lexington Suite. The room was very comfortable and clean. We had a relaxing and restful night. Since we were the only guests upstairs, we peeked in the other guest rooms. They were all lovely. The host, Barb, was delightful. She was so welcoming and kind. The breakfast she prepared the next morning was absolutely delicious. Even though you cannot book directly through the website, it was easy to contact Barb via email and reserve our room. She was really responsive and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Inn the Garden.
